INTRO tung tung tung saHERE! it's ur gurl vienna and today ill be talking about manon's hiatus and all the drama that has come from it ( ie: coachella, dani's dad ) etc. so let's get to it! ARTICLE: on febuary 20, 2026, manon was announced on hiatus for health reasons and her well-being but a few hours ( or minutes ) later the statement was announced, manon commented on we verse and said that she is healthy which already seemed suspicious to me. also, there was a twitter post that said " daniela (katseye) or lisa (blackpink) " and at the end of the day daniela and lisa are two VERY VERY talented woman in their craft but dani's dad said this that really got me disgusted : "If you have to ask DANIELA! Much better trained. Plus she's also Latina, a major advantage against Asian dancers." and he was also talking about how daniela's hips don't lie WHICH IS VERY MUCH TRUE but coming from her father that is utterly disgusting. he also said stuff about manon like "katseye's bigger than one girl" , "come back when ur ready to work", and "5 is ok to" which is just really mean in general bc 5 katseye members is NOT ok katseye will always be 6 and what i think is REALLY unfair on megan's hiatus she was included in the m/v of my way at the start and the end, lara was still in gameboy even tho she had a sprained ankle, but what about manon? why isn't she in pinky up? like HOLY discrimination going on here this is not the 1950's when there were seperate but equal laws ( im a history nerd ok ). as many people know katseye preformed at coachella very exciting right? lots of eyekons ( and me ) thought manon was gonna be preforming with katseye right.. well spoiler alert: she didn't. do u wanna know what's really messed up about it tho? preforming at coachella was her DREAM and she mentioned that a LOT so hype just not letting her preform at coachella with the rest of the girls is honestly sad. at least she performed at pink patheress's set <3 BYE BYE so that's it :)) you can recommend me for other stuff to write about in my chat room when i make it or this project. bye bye for now see u in my next article!
edit ( 4/22/26 ) i actually also noticed that moka and manon's hiatus dates are 2 months away from each other moka: 4/20/26 manon: 2/20/26 does this mean smth ??
