If this succeeds, it will be a major Polish victory and a game-changer. If it fails, we could lose a large portion of our northern territory. [Steps Below] Step 1: 750,000 Polish troops (around 92% of the entire army!) leave their defensive posts in Northern Poland. Only 50,000 troops remain in Northern Poland, but not to defend Warsaw. Step 2: The 50,000 Polish troops scatter throughout the Polish marshlands, a natural obstacle that will prove hard to pass for soldiers without modern motorized vehicles (not yet invented). Instead of fighting the Russians directly, they engage in guerrilla warfare, making the already harsh marshlands even more hellish. Polish soldiers hide in mud, weeds, tall grass, trees, and any other cover they can find. Guerrilla warfare has proven to be a sound strategy against the Russians over the ages. Another reason why this would work is that the Russians would not be expecting a massive Polish withdrawal. This could lead to two possible events: 1. The Russians become extremely cautious, trickling in and giving the southern offensives more time, or 2. The Russians become overconfident and invade with full speed and force, resulting in huge losses. Step 3: A staggering force of 300,000 troops with a high concentration of the Republic's most experienced troops (but not including the Commonwealth Guard), including the elite lancers and hussars, trained in defending long stretches of land due to experience guarding supply lines. This will be PERFECT for their task. While all the republic's sappers build a trench line in hostile territory without sleep or breaks, hussars and lancers work at breakneck pace, riding throughout the entire construction line, fending off any Russian invaders. Of course, there is also the 245,000 regular infantry, but their main job is to clear the initial defenders and sit inside the trench when it's complete. Step 4: 250,000 troops led by the original Polish Light Infantry Battalions march just a few miles below the northern offensive. Infantry clear any Russians in the way while sappers set up the prized foreign cannons we acquired from the French and Ottomans. These cannons will help defend the northern trench line once it is in place, capable of fending off the most fierce Russian charges. After the cannons are set up, the 250,000 infantry will move to the East to defend their position. Step 5: 200,000 troops made up of mostly new recruits invade southern Poland. This army is actually 90% female, attributed to the 180,000 women enlisted. How do we know that the new recruits won't just be easily repelled? Following Operation Python's amazing success, the Russians in the south will no doubt be in disarray due to the loss of thousands in an encirclement. The 200,000 should move right in and finish the job. Step 5: In case all goes to hell, the 231 Commonwealth Guard, best of the best, are put in Warsaw alongside their two officers. They are put on the walls and barricades of the city in case the 50,000 guerrillas were not enough to stop the Russians.
This is a solely Polish operation. Please read all steps, even though it may be a little long.
