therians vs "fake therians" oh boy this topic is soooooooooo overly AND underly talked about. are you a therian? or think you are one? well, here is everything you pretty much need to know about therianthropy, and "fake" therians --------------------------------------------------> the term "fake therian" enrages me. a therian is a someone who has a spiritual/mental/physical connection to an animal. therians can have shifts where their mind becomes closer to the animal they identify as then a humans brain. they may feel animal body parts, instincts, you get the gist of things. ------------------------ if you experience these phenomenons, you might be a therian. you can't choose your theriotype. I'm a fox therian, and I feel very connected to this identity. if you "chose" your type, your not a therian! because you aren't connected!!!!! you see, a "fake therian" doesn't exist to me. because your not even "fake", you simply just aren't one of any sort. plus, YOU don't know if they are fake are not, stop making wreck less accusations with not a single source to site or any proof. there are tons of alter-humanity you can choose to identify as though. however, another main problem is that therians do not bother to educate "fake therians" correctly. whenever I see them "edcucate" them, they usually say something among the lines of "therians don't choose their types and they h-"ave a connection yada yada hgioeheghueggu- shush. while this is correct, your just telling them what it is, yes which. is educating them a bit. but you also need to redirect them. you *should* say things like; "you may not be a therian but you can still wear masks, tails and do quads. and there also other alter human identities you can use." sometimes I see videos on my yt fyp saying"signs you might be talking to a fake therian" or something. which, they often say "having multiple types might mean your talking to a fake therian" and my response to that? polytherians exist "is a subcategory of therianthropy, which is used to describe a therianthrope who identifies as two or more non-human animals." those aren't even my words. that was the therian wiki who said that. so yeah, having many types doesn't mean your a fake therian. holy ramble mcrambleton that was a LOT of typing XD. k hoped this helped ig bye please ^kindly^ correct me if I explainned smth wrong or missed smth
