(1) Sign-ups (2) about the world / Flower Era (3) Families (4) Rules for in the RP! (5) Out of RP rules! (6) New character(s) (7) Character de@th (8) Superstitions -------------------------------- (1) Sign-ups sign up here!: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1311267060/ ------------------------------------ (2) World / Flower Era The foxes: Everyone is calm, lazy, and happy (imagine rainwings from WOF). Foxes decorate themselves with flowers. Landscape: the land consists of endless fields of flowers and forests full of flowering trees, small lakes and ponds are occasional, small streams are more common to find, and are in abundance. At night, small bioluminescent flowers bloom, and fireflies dance in the sky, so even the night is beautiful and bright. Weather: In the morning and night, a light fog coats the land in moisture. It usually never rains. Soft petals fall from the sky constantly and coat the land in a blanket. The world is a perfect temperature; warm with a slight breeze. It is always spring; no other season exists here. It is always slightly cloudy. Lore: The Flower Era is called the "after"; speaking of any era before this one is forbidden (see 4. for INRP rules) Other: prey is abundant. --------------------------------------------------- (3) Families Families consist of 2-4 adult foxes and usually between 2-8 kids. Each family is named after something in the Flower Era. You do not get to pick which family you are born into, but you can leave suggestions! Becoming an adult fox/ your own family: At the age of 13 moons, a fox is sent out of its current family to find their 'soul mate.' Soul mates are decided by the kind of flower that bloomed when you were born. Soulmates will have the same kind of birth flower as your birth flower. (see 6. for new characters). A fox who doesn't find their soul mate by 15 moons can no longer resist the call of the fields (see 8. for superstitions), and they go missing forever... (see 7. for character de@th). When the 'Soul mates' reach 16 moons, children bloom out of different types of flowers, and it is the duty of the 'Soul mates' to be their parents. The children are bloomed between the ages of 1-4 moons old. Every child has a parent; if the child's parents d!e, the child does too. Most 'soul mates' don't actually love each other, so secret affairs are common and fine. Some 'soul mates' consist of more than one person. 'Soul mates' are any gender relationships. ------------------------------------------------------------------- (4) INRP rules (rules made by high authority figures in RP) (I don't really care if you actually do these things; it's just rules put up by the foxes that keep them alive) 1. It is forbidden to speak of the de. 2. It is forbidden to question the land given to us. 3. It is forbidden to worry. 4. It is forbidden to seek out the mysteries of the land. 5. It is forbidden not to find a soul mate. 6. It is forbidden not to care for your children. 7. It is forbidden to fake a 'soul mate.' 8. It is forbidden to fear 9. It is forbidden to be sad 10. It is forbidden to bring harm upon someone. 11. It is forbidden to question. 12. All foxes will be named after elements in the Flower Era out of respect. 13. It is forbidden to speak of any time before the Flower Era. 14. 1st code word is your favorite color. ---------------------------------------------------------- (5.) OORP rules No excessive gore or bl00d. Nothing that could be seen as offensive. No hate speech. Each scratcher can have up to 3 characters. ----------------------------------------------------------------- (6) New characters New characters can be any age unless otherwise stated in the sign-ups. You are granted a new character if yours d!es. (see 7. character de) Foxes bloom from giant flowers in the flower fields; that is how they are born. The type of flower they blossom from is an important thing to have stated in your character bio. The flower is how they find their soul mates. Foxes usually do not look like their 'parents' (see 8. for superstitions) Any colors are allowed (besides neon colors or extremely unnatural colors like bright blue). Foxes are allowed to have strange features like: (antennas, flower disease {see 7.}, extra tail, missing ears, extra eyes, blind). {I take suggestions also, if you want to make your own} Foxes are bloomed with scars from w0unds they never received (see 8. for superstitions), wounds that would have been fat... Foxes between the ages of 13-14 moons ('soul mate' searching years) are called 'Wanderers.' ---------------- (continued in notes and credits)
(continued from instructions) (7) character de@th Ways your character could d!e: 1. The Flower Disease: a rare, strange disease that slowly turns you into a pile of flowers. Most commonly affects foxes between the ages of 6-14 moons, but can be seen in other ages. Symptoms can last for up to a few moons before the fox perishes. 2. Old age: on a fox's 15th (year) birthday, they will explode into a pile of petals; there is no known way to stop this from happening. 3. Flower wilt: In rare cases, a birth flower can wilt and d!e before the fox blooms. 4. 2nd code word is your fav season If your character dies, visit the project titled "Sign-ups" and create a new one with a mention of your other character's death. ---------------------------------------------------------------- (8) Superstitions Common superstitions believed by many. (might not be true) 1. The call of the fields: The urge to walk in a straight line through the flower fields until the flowers claim you as their own. 2. There is a common belief that foxes do not look like their parents because they are either gifts from the flower fields or the reincarnations of other foxes. 3. Scars are present on all foxes, there is a belief that the scars are how they died in their past life. 4. There is a belief that the Flower Era is the afterlife 5. If you see a dead flower, you or someone you are close too will d!e soon. 6. Rain is an omen of an outbreak of the flower disease 7. If you break one of the rules the foxes put up, you will d!e 8. Negative emotions lead to the flower disease. 9. The flower disease is caught when you walk through the flower rem@ins of a dece@sed fox. --------------------------------------------------------------- and actually no, the flower disease is NOT common. (might be updated in the future)
