Another day for my siblings to bully me. You see, I’m in Ares Cabin however I’m not that strong like my siblings. I’m more like a Hermes kid. Swift, agile and sneaky. But my dad had to be Ares. I can’t perform any sword move without tripping or dropping the sword. I can’t even say hi to the person I like. Micah Morgan. I’ve been at camp for about 3 years and Micah has been here for 2 years. We have talked a few times but to be honest he is really charming. Yes he is from Aphrodite but I mean he has a way around things. He can charm-speak people into doing what he wants. He’s just… perfect. But then he would never even notice me since I always mess stuff up and get things wrong. I just don’t think it would ever work between us. “Hey Carter” Micah said, sitting next to me. I think I just got evil eyes from all my siblings staring at me in jealousy. “Hey Micah” I said, trying to keep my cool. He had some gold glitter specked on his face. “So what brings you here Micah?” I asked. Micah smiled at me. “You know just advice on how to protect yourself from danger…” Micah said his voice trailing off. I think my face went pure tomato red at this point because I though Micah would’ve asked one of my other siblings for help. Not me. But nevertheless I helped Micah out. “Just keep a dagger with you at all costs. Maybe conceal it so that it looks like something harmless” I suggested. Micah thought about it for a second and his face lit up with an idea. “Carter your the best!” Micah hugged me. I went still until Micah let me go and skipped away. I took at least 5 deep breaths just to calm myself down. I decided to go see Asher Thompson from Hephaestus Cabin. A good friend of mine. Maybe he could help me give Micah some boots. “Carter are you okay? You’ve never been this lovey-dovey about gifting pink boots that conceal daggers in them!” Asher said while he was making the boots. He was using a special indestructible pink fabric to make the boots so they were fashionable and comfy. “Im sure” I said to him. “Plus your the only guy who can actually make the boots in Hephaestus Cabin!” I added as he wiped sweat off his forehead. The Hephaestus Cabin was burning hot because there was flames everywhere and things being molten for later projects. “Well your lucky the boots take a little while to make. I need to help Aarav and Ethan with some blueprint sketches and then I need to help some of the Roman exchange campers to learn about the forge” he sighed. I felt bad for Asher. He was a good friend of mine since we met in the first few weeks of when we joined. “Who are these for anyways?” Asher asked. I bit my lip. “It’s um…”
