She and Yuji were meant to be a single, overwhelming physical powerhouse like Toji, but the "soul" split unevenly. While Yuji got the Heavenly Restriction-lite (the raw physical body), she got the Life Force. This explains why she had RCT from birth—she wasn't just healing; she was overflowing with the vitality Yuji "lost." Kenjaku considered her a "failed" vessel because she was too "positive" to house a cursed object like Sukuna, leading him to ignore her. She’s a year younger, so she’d typically be in middle school, however Gojo found her and realized that her RCT output was higher than Shoko Ieiri’s potential. He pulled strings to "accelerate" her enrollment because the Jujutsu world was getting too dangerous to wait. She also insisted on joining early specifically to watch over Yuji after their grandfather died. She’s the only family he has left, and she uses her RCT as a literal way to keep him from breaking. The first time she uses her technique reversal was quite traumatic for her. Because she spent her whole life thinking she was "pure" and "helpful," the discovery that her power can also be a weapon of mass destruction horrified her. She developed a "Healer’s Guilt." To use her strongest attack, she needs people to be hurt so she can heal them first. This makes her feel like a vulture—waiting for her friends to get injured just so she can get stronger. Martyr's Debt- Binding Vow When she takes on others' wounds, she doesn't just heal them; the scars "stay" on her body for a few minutes before fading. If she takes on a fatal wound (like a lost limb) to double her CE stack, she risks her brain "short-circuiting" from the sheer amount of RCT needed to fix herself and the ally at once. Sukuna is the "King of Curses," and she is essentially the "Queen of Blessings." Sukuna found her revolting. Her very presence—radiating positive energy—was like a foul smell to him. She is one of the few people who could potentially "purge" Sukuna’s CE from Yuji’s body without killing Yuji, making her Sukuna’s #1 target. Character Arc: "The Weight of the Crown" She starts as the "little sister" Yuji protects, but by the Shibuya arc, the roles reverse. As the CE accumulation hits its limit and her "offensive shield" activates, she becomes an untouchable goddess of war who can't even hug her brother because her positive energy would burn his (or Sukuna's) cursed energy. Shan: In the eras before Sukuna, the world was chaotic and unrecorded. Shan wasn't just a sorcerer; he was a Divine Eraser. Emperors would pay him in gold and jewelry (explaining his piercings) to erase the existence of rival bloodlines or failed rebellions. The Sealing; He wasn't defeated in a fair fight. The sorcerers of the Nara period realized that as long as Shan existed, "truth" didn't exist. They staged a "Banquet of Peace" (ironic, given his Maximum Technique) and used a combined binding vow of hundreds of sorcerers to force his essence into his own jewelry and his ledger of erased names (the Book). Why Kasa as a vessel?; Kasa isn't just a random vessel; she’s a descendant of the clan that was tasked with guarding the 12 rings. Over centuries, her bloodline "forgot" their purpose (thanks to Shan’s passive influence), but their bodies adapted. The scar on Kasa’s forehead isn't from an accident. It’s a Stigmata. As she grows stronger, the skin thins there because Shan’s third eye is trying to "see" back into a world that forgot him. It opens into an eye when Shan takes over. Shan's spiky hair isn't just a style; it’s a physical manifestation of Shan’s CE beginning to leak through, mimicking his crown-like silhouette. The "Perfect Paradox" - Their techniques are polar opposites, which creates a fascinating dynamic: Shan erases; Kasa accumulates. Shan is a "Void," a king of nothingness. Kasa is a "Vessel," a queen of abundance. When Shan eventually takes over, he realizes that Kasa’s Accumulated Blessings is the only thing that can actually "fill" his Archive of the Void. He doesn't want to kill her; he wants to use her body to store all the history he once deleted. The "Weight of Names" (The Book) - The book with the golden Hamsa is the Index of the Forgotten. Every time Kasa uses a high-level RCT move, a page in the book flips. She thinks she’s just healing, but she’s actually "paying" for the healing by offering up memories or names recorded in the book (however the book is thousands of pages long). Risky, however; if she finishes the book, Shan’s seal breaks completely. He isn't just released; the world suddenly "remembers" thousands of years of erased horrors all at once, causing a global collapse of the Jujutsu society. Sukuna is the only one who vaguely "remembers" a myth about a man with four arms who wore the sun (gold) on his fingers. Sukuna respects Shan’s "Archive" because it’s the ultimate form of selfishness—deciding what is allowed to exist.+
+The Higher-Ups fear Kasa because her RCT output is so high she could technically "heal" the Tengen barriers away or accidentally erase the history of the Three Great Families if Shan whispers the right words to her, so naturally she was also scheduled for an execution, which got postponed along with Yuji's. I'm dropping a cover art I did of her soon :3
