OasisClan. A clan of the desert. From the original RP call/welcome project: "Shortfurred cats, often tall and lanky reside in this stretch of desert. They have a deep connection with StarClan, and are all named with a prefix that fits their desert home. Hostile to all but their own." [[ table of contents ]] - Clan History - Clan Territory - Clan Builds - Clan Beliefs - Clan Behaviors - Special Rules - OasisClan Under Solarstar ` Clan History ` The first Clan, led by the legendary Shallowstar after the Awakening. The Clan was known for its loyalty and heart. OasisClan has never been challenged as a real Clan, and continues to live very similar to the way it was when it was formed. Shallowstar led them to victory in the Great War, and in other battles that proceeded the War. It produced many well-known warriors, such as Sand-dunesnarl and Gilaflare. Although, most of the Clan's history is lost to time, even having been formed at the same time as the others, just brought together first. ` Clan Territory ` Located in the arid desert, it's very hard for cats to live here. They usually hunt things such as lizards and owls, and are mainly nocturnal due to the swealtering heat. OasisClan cats live in tunnels under the desert, and their camp is settled where all the tunnels open, an oasis that gave them their name, a small area littered with palms and birds, small pools trickle through the oasis. ` Clan Builds ` OasisClan cats tend to be very small, and sand/dirt colored, with white accents to blend in. They're fast and short-furred to try to keep them cool. Their sharp eyes tend to be ambers, oranges, and blues. Sometimes green. Small paws with long, hooked claws help them survive in their environment. ` Clan Beliefs ` OasisClan has a deep connection to StarClan, known for their unwavering belief in them. They often get prophecies and visions, and are safe from most ravaging events and predators, although their Prophets say that StarClan must make it even in some way, so Chaos, a "rogue" that's said not to be a cat, takes a life ever once in a while. ` Clan Behaviors ` This Clan often hunts at night, when it gets cold. They raise their kits often through the entire Clan, and sometimes kit forget who their parents are. They are either named by something that has to do with heat, fire, the desert, or something else. If they are named after something else at birth, then their suffix will have to do with those things. Quite hostile to cats outside of their clan. ` Special Rules ` Ranks: There's another rank! Prophets are warriors that StarClan speaks through, who keep the peace, and act as advisors to the leader. Joining: There's a set amount of challenges to overcome if you wish to have your character join. There's hunting, fighting, surviving, and 2 others that are chosen by the leader. Succession: In this Clan, some cats choose to have heirs. !NOTE! Heirs can only go down one generation to make it fair! I don't want it to be impossible to be leader. Clan Skill: Heat resistance! The way you get sp (skill points) in this Clan is by day hunting with another cat, border patrol during the day with another cat, training during the day, and burrowing. ` OasisClan under Solarstar ` Solarstar rules under kindness. They are soft with outsiders, being an outsider once too. Although, stealing prey is not an option. Prey is valuble, mainly to Clans like OasisClan and RubbleClan. Stealing prey will result in a public humiliation, exile, or other punishments, based on how much prey is stolen and what they do with it. If a cat steals *for* OasisClan, it's an offence. Does that cat think OasisClan has to rely on another Clan's prey? No. Same punishments for stealing from OasisClan, but more harsh. Solarstar is a prideful cat. In v!olence, it's exile or execution. Dangerous and v!olent cats are not to be tolerated in OasisClan.
