Chapter 2 - New face **** Sprout was awoken by the sounds of chatter outside, he stood up grumbly, putting on his grey fluffed up cloak. His scarf messly wrapped around his neck as he goes to the small pond next to his cabbin. He washes his face, smiling at the messy reflection as the water wobbled. He straightened his leaves and walked to the kingdom. The busy streets of the kingdom surrounded a small little pastry stand. He was selling some small snacks with fresh whipped cream on top of the delectable cake. People were astound at the taste. "Its just like the queen made it!" One said. Sprout narrowed the small cracks to get into the front. There stood a short little fellow a cosmic roll as his head. he had cute sprinkle stars on his cheeks and nose, acting like freckles. He wore a horribly sewn hoodie with the strings tied into a bow. he wore rainbow leg warmers and was holding peppermint icing, carefully putting it on a cookie to make a swirl design. Sprout looked at him in awe. He walks up to the front of the stand, Putting a hand on the small table "Wow...Got some good business huh?" The pastry guy giggled "Yeah. My cousin taught me how to decorate and...i just love baking in all!" Sprout smiles "Ey...I do too!" he lends out his hand "My names Sprout" he raised a brow "You mean the Sprout all over wanted posters?" Sprout blushes embarrassed (editors note: NOT CRUSH BLUSHING EMBARRASSED BLUSHING NOT FRUITCAKEEEEEE) "Well...I am kinda infamous huh." he laughs "My names Cosmo" he said shaking sprouts hand. "Cosmo huh? You like space or somethin?" Cosmo frowns "Ugh...everyone always says that...I mean...I kinda am but im not a big space expert." Cosmo pulls out a small cookie from his batch "Here. Its on me mate!" Sprout smiles "Thanks..." Cosmo smiles "Ah its nothin." A random toon points at Sprout "EY! THATS THE GUY THAT STOLE MY BREAD!" Sprouts gulps "...Gotta go!" Sprouts runs away. Cosmo laughs, wiping a tear from his face "sigh...wow....I cant wait to go home." Cosmo said now bored. *** Sprouts hands were tied up with ropes. The detective in the town, Rodger, stared down at him "Now young man...What were ya thinking?!" Sprouts shrugs, not making eye contact "I dunno! I was hungry and your food is 20 tapes! WHO HAS THAT MONEY FOR THAT?!" Rodger grumbles "SILENCE! I tolerate no disrespect unless you want to be beheaded!" Sprout mumbles "Great...at least I'll be noticed for once." Rodger grabs the small glass of water and hands it to sprout "Here. Get ya mind clean. And ey...Ill let you free if just pay me 10 tapes." Sprouts gulps "10?! thats....I only have 100...." Sprouts sighs "Okay...Here" Sprout pulls out his tape bag, handing him 10 tapes. Rodger takes the tapes and nods "Thank you for your corporation." Sprout mumbles "Yeah...okay. Can I go now?" Rodger nods, untying the ropes. Sprouts stretches his arms before quickly leaving. Sprout walked back out into the kingdom. The smell of fresh bloomed flowers filled the air. It reminded him of his old love. He walks to Cosmos stand. "Ey! Cos!....is that a good nickname? I havent had a friend since bobette was the queen..." Cosmo laughs "I like it..!" Sprout smiles "Thanks..." He looks around. everyone was now at there own stands. he leans in closer "So...i have a question" Sprout whispered "Yes..?" "...Whos the current queen?" Cosmo laughs "Is that a joke?" Sprout still had a serious look on his face "Cos...please just tell me." Cosmo blinks confused "Its...Bassie Bloomington?" Sprout blinks. "...Bassie....Ive heard that name...where have I..." Sprout freezes "I-its ...her!" Sprout runs to the castle "Wha- HEY! WHATS WRONG?!" ----------------------------------- CHAPTER 3 - WIP
