While this may look unrealistic, this is not Texas and New Mexico invading, this is the combined power of Texas (Includes Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Arkansas), New Mexico (Includes Arizona, Utah, and Colorado), Quebec (Includes a large part of east Canada), Indiana (Also Kentucky), and Australia, which owns a lot of the Pacific isles With so many troops busy in the east, Texas is caught completely off guard by the invasion, and the Mexicans are able to take Brownsville, Corpus, and El Paso in the first month, and even launch an attack on Houston, though it is immediately crushed by Air Force raids over the enemy camps and the sheer number of armed civilians in the city. Speaking of Air Force, Mexico has been bombing us, and so we order nation-wide alerts and safety presentations until we can get it under control. The invasion of Arkansas is quickly rapped up with a blitz, and the troops are sent down to the frontline with Mexico. The navy, which was around Louisiana and is blocked off by the Mexican navy retreating from Houston fights hard, begins to lose, but at last Atlanticion and Australian navy volunteers arrive (Both nations are allies) and we begin to use small aircraft and subs to blow their navy back and encircle them. Divisions are sent along the coast of the gulf and the border with New Mexico, heading for Brownsville and El Paso respectively. With drone targeting that we use, both cities should be taken, and at this point New Mexico enters the war (They agreed to do it and let me invade for them). From now on our strategy is to hold a line and make small gains, except for in two areas: 1. Baja California, where we rush forces to meet up with the Australian navy and separate the peninsula from the mainland and 2. The navy, which spearheads towards the Mexican coast, makes an amphibious landing, and opens a new frontline. This is what we will do for now. So… The choice is yours: surrender now and we will not punish you too harshly, or continue fighting to the de@th
