Total rating: 7.5/10 Spoiler free review (scroll to bottom for spoiler review): I first watched the pilot for this show just the other day and I gave it a decent rating for it for now until the rest of the episodes release. I really like the art styles in this, switching between the normal style (which I already like a lot), and an off-putting Realistic-like style. I like the characters and the story (more focused on in spoiler review). But I really like Mel and the Dad characters SPOILER REVIEW: First going into this and getting to the end of the episode I have my thoughts on it. The positive things are the characters, story, and just style of the show. I like Mel and her being the only human in their world and humans are considered "Black bloods" and dangerous for the normal residents (idr what they are called lol). I also like how the group Mel is part of went on a mission planned by Mel herself to find and steal a human egg from an angel bird thingy and at the end of the episode reveal it actually hatched into a bird of some kind and not a human. I also really like how the Dad is the only one who still cares about Mel despite her being "dangerous" and a "black blood", and being a fun dad character.
So far in this series, I like it. Not as much as TADC or Murder Drones but it is still a good pilot and start to the series and I'm excited to see where it goes from here Oh yea I'm also planning on making an "On a scale of Mel" and other Gaslight District characters in the future along with the normal Murder Drones and TADC ones
