“ it was bound to happen someday . the vibrant and radiant star, like all others, would show the universe the most beautiful death . through a violent core collapse of once a stunning star, a flash of a supernova , it was over. the wolf rayet star was no more . it almost was as if it shattered, sending nuclear fuel, stellar winds, all in different directions, a beautiful and elegant kind of chaos. stars nearby heard its echoes and screams, and shuddered in response for the loss of the one . in the core of the madness, emerging from the energy shed, wolf rayet lay, and breathed, and opened its eyes for the very first time . it could not comprehend its universe, its brothers as stars, as it was such a different being now. a small, insignificant creature, not even shadowing its former astronomical glory . what a shame, it thinks, as it slowly lets the universe carry it onward in a never ending stellar stream. soon after, it would meet the sun. such a small, simple yellow dwarf before its times, yet now it stood and greeted rayet as equals. sungazer pitifully explained their responsibility for life on the goldilocks planet they housed so dearly. their passion for their creatures, that took on a similar form to them. they controlled the rays of the sun, illuminating the lonely planet and allowing it to bask comfortably in warmth. their partner comet kept the planet alive at night, spending time on the side of the planet opposite to sungazer. rayet realized , there was nothing left for them to do . they joined sungazer and comet as the final being , illuminating the distant stars, their distant brethren, in the sky , as to tell the creatures of their now supervised planet , ‘ this was how great i once was . ’ but i will never be that great again . ”
