“STUMPPAW!” Florakit screeched, padding about camp. She was a few moons old now, and Silverpelt had let her wander around camp. “WHERE AREEEE YOUUUU?!” Stumppaw, who had been out hunting by herself, reluctantly came over. “What is it now, Florakit?” she sighed. Stumppaw was Tailclaw’s younger sister, who had joined the Clan a few moons after. Her mentor was Darktooth, who was a dark-furred tom, and Florakit was kind of jealous that she was an apprentice at all. “Do you want to play again?” “No!” she mewed grumpily, “I do NOT!” Stumppaw looked at her curiously. “What do you want, then? You were screaming the camp down!” “I’m lonely.” She sighed. “I want a friend.” Stumppaw rolled her eyes, obviously not in the mood to deal with this. “Well, why don’t you go play with Lichenkit? Or Janekit?” “Oh, alright. I’ll go find Janekit.” Florakit padded off towards the Nursery to find Janekit, practically screaming, “JANEKITTTTTTT! WHERE ARE YOUUUUU SISTERRRRR!?!?!?” *** Janekit and Florakit were wrestling outside the Nursery. Silverpelt was visiting Startail, and Juneclaw and Tailclaw were out hunting, so they were on their own. "HEY." Florakit hisses good-humouredly as Janekit nips her ear. "We should TOOOOTALLY go play with the other kits!" Janekit eyes Florakit sceptically. "But Mother said-" "Mother said to stay here and be good little kits. Why not make a few friends?" "FINE." So Florakit and Janekit wandered the Camp looking for another kit to play with. "HI." Florakit would exclaim to every cat in sight. Lichenkit was poking around camp when he saw two other kits. "HIHIHI!!!!!" He barrelled toward them but missed, crashing into a bush. "I'm okay!" he said. "HULLO FELLO KIT!" Florakit exclaimed, laughing. Janekit eyed Lichenkit in concern. "HIIIIIII!!!" Finally a cat who matched his energy. "YAY I HAVE SOMEBODY TO PLAY WITH!!!" "YAYYYY!!" Florakit exclaimed. "JANEKIT WHERE ARE YOU GOING SISSSS!?!?" Janekit had begun to wander off before being crash-tackled by Florakit. "Get. Off. Me." she growled, pushing Florakit off. Florakit turned back to Lichenkit. "Don't mind ma sista she just NO FUN." Janekit glared at Florakit. "WHAT SHOULD..." Lichenkit paused, tired from all the shouting. "What should we play?!" he asked in a voice one stage below a shout. "What about tag!? Or hide and seek!?" Florakit exclaimed. Janekit rolled her eyes. "I'm going to see Cedarwood." she declared, walking away from the rowdy other kits. "Fine, be BORING." giggled Lichenkit. "Let's do hide and seek! I'll hide!" He ran off without another word. "I'LL FIND YOUUUUUU!!!" Florakit laughed, counting to ten. "READY OR NOT HERE I COMEEEEEE!!!" she started rushing around Camp, checking every corner. She wrinkled her snout when she saw Janekit and Cedarwood quietly chatting in the Elder's den and skipped there. "WHERE ARE YOU LICHENKIT!!!" Lichenkit heard Florakit calling out and chuckled. He shifted his position in the shadow of the warrior den. He had found this spot a while back and would use it to hide from his mother sometimes. "FOUND YOU!" Florakit exclaimed, hearing the chuckle and zooming into the Warriors den. "AHH!" Lichenkit yelled at Florakit pounced on him. “Haha FOUND YOU!!!” She exclaimed teasingly. "Awww!" he pouted. Then he heard the sound of a clan meeting. "Ooo, let's go! I'll get my momma!" “Ok! I’ll get Janekit and my Mama. Race you!” She rushed off to the Nursery.
