⎯⎯ ୨ Maison de Glace ୧ ⎯⎯ ─- Fiddle Music -─ It's been a while since i've picked up my violin. “Maison de glace” (House of Ice) is a Québécois-style jig composed in 1997 by accordionist Réjean Brunet. Even though it sounds like an older traditional tune, it was actually created during a workshop. Brunet wrote the first half and had students help build the second. It follows a classic 6/8 dance structure (AA’BB), which is why it sits so well in sessions and for dancers. There are many different versions/variations; here, I am playing a somewhat simplified one. . . . ⇢ ˗ˏˋ music: @Q1nix ࿐ྂ ⇢ ˗ˏˋ thank you for listening
