The "Battle of I-75" is a fierce, annual college football rivalry between the Toledo Rockets and Bowling Green Falcons. Separated by only 25 miles on I-75 in Northwest Ohio, the teams play for the "Battle of I-75 Trophy" (formerly the Peace Pipe).The series is characterized by intense, closely matched games, and the Rockets and the Falcons are tied 43-43 games all time( As of October 12th, 2025 after BG had a thrilling 28-23 comeback victory after being down 21-7 at halftime at home vs the Rockets. As someone who will be attending UT this year, I feel that I should say that the 2nd half really annoyed me because BG completely shut down our offense, and the only points that we got in the 2nd half was a safety with 0 seconds left in the 4th Quarter).
