instructions: open your mind and feel what you're about to read -- looking back, it may be the Scratch community that helped me grow up. recently, our computer science teachers was complained by at least 6 people in my class (according to my class teacher; i know there is more people who would not wanna use their brain, and just yap about the computer teacher on social media or whatever). and today, i accidentally saw him, right in the Academic Affairs Office, in a room with the Dean of Academic Affairs. i asked my class teacher what happened. he told me that it was actually him that told the dean our view. he spent at least an hour, on a chat app, explaining why he did that and how he would be responsible for all the consequences of doing so... and it feels heartwarming. where can you find a teacher that would speak one-to-one with people with questions, while having their own busy life? he was walking at the time, but he still replied to the message using voice recording. i remembered that i had a friend who has a sister that was once a student of my computer teacher. my friend said her sister thinks he's quite a good teacher. so i asked her sister about it. again, another hour passed of her explaining it all to me. hey, she ain't a free person, you know? she's a UEC 6A student, math training team member, and also a sister - a genius with her own life. -- so i didn't just let these two amazing explanations go. i took a piece of paper and wrote a summary on how i think it works... and it really helped me be clear of this whole situation. tomorrow, will be the day the whole class vote to decide whether or not to write an official letter to the AA department. -- this all would not have happened if it wasn't the Scratch community didn't embrace curiosity and discussion. i wouldn't have question things I find wrong. i wouldn't have bravely ask people when I feel wrong. i wouldn't have care about things that are wrong. i could have been an NPC that only maths every night. but no. im now a real human who cares about things. thank you for everything. scratch is an amazing place and i hope this can be shown to the world. -- notes and credits: my soul. my computer science teacher. my class teacher. my friend. my friend's sister.
