“G-Geramia!” Lamar said, his face turning slightly redder than it originally was. Toasty was what Geramia called him ever since they were kits, since according to Geramia, he was hot but sweet. “So uhm… I saw smoke under the doorway, and wanted to make sure you were okay. Well, not that I wasn’t gonna come over anyway!” Geramia said, quickly adding the last part. Geramia took a deep breath, his face getting slightly red. “I-I want to confront you about something. I wanted to know-” “I’mokay!Sorry, notime, andalsodef’no!Byyyeeee!!!” Lamar said hurriedly, slamming the door behind him. Lamar leaned against the door, sitting down. Was he too rude? —--------------------<(◍ᴗ◍)>—-------------------- “-if you could help me break up…” Geramia said quietly as he trailed off, knowing there was no point in finishing that sentence audibly. His ears flattened against his head, and his wagging tail fell limp against his legs. He thought that there was no one around, but it appeared that there was one. “YOU WANT TO GO ON A DATE WITH LAMAR, AND CHEAT ON ME?!” Shouted a familiar voice that sent shivers down only Geramia’s spine. Geramia whipped around, meeting the enraged eyes of a horrible demon- and girlfriend- known as… Lilly. “L-Lilly! Darling, i-it’s not what you-” Geramia said, putting on a smile. Though, there was fear behind it as he was cut off by the angered Lilly… Slapping him across the face and leaving a red mark. “YOU BETTER THINK TWICE BEFORE CHEATING ON ME!” Lilly shouted. Geremia was sent back, but didn’t even hit the floor before he felt… His tail being grabbed. He felt a searing pain in the tip of his tail, letting out a cry out from the injury. He turned his head, his face hot from the pain. Lilly had bit the tip of his tail off, as blood was trickling down it, and from her mouth. Lilly reared back, ripping it off, and spitting it out, leaving Geramia to curl into a ball. Lilly stood up, sneering at him. “The fact that I’m still willing to stay with a pathetic cat like you would make me look like an idiot, so suck it up, crybaby. Oh, and don’t think about breaking up with me. Cause I’ll tell the whole world that Geramia Crybaby is a little piece of labored trash who lies to get his way. I have my ways,” Lilly said. She then put on a fake smile, which was just cruel to Geramia. “Go to the nurse, Gerbear~” Lilly left, her furious expression returning, as Geramia got up. Geremia couldn’t tell, as he felt woozy, but he swore he saw horns growing on Lilly’s head. —--------------------<(◍ᴗ◍)>—-------------------- Lamar looked into the closet. Elizabeth wasn’t there. Lamar panicked. Had she been his imagination? No, Cole knew of her existence, and Lamar wasn’t lonely. She must have hid somewhere else. Lamar left, calling Elizabeth’s name. “Elizabeth! Elizabeth!” Lamar called. He was so busy calling for Elizabeth, that he didn’t realize he was being stalked right now by the very feline he hated. Lilly. Lamar heard a growl and a rip, making him whip around back towards the closet. There! In the black abyss of the closet, he saw two yellow eyes, studying him. “E-Elizabeth?” Lamar asked, a quiver in his voice. Then, the creature pounced, chasing Lamar. The creature was a tuxedo cat, resembling a cat from the human world, except it had red horns and a cross on its forearm. Unfortunately, the creature had cornered Lamar, and grabbed him by the neck. Lamar gagged, barely able to breath from the creature’s strength. He clawed at its wrist, but with no avail. His vision was slowly turning black. Then, suddenly, he took a deep breath, and coughed, falling with a thud on the floor. He heard another thud, and opened his eyes, holding his throat. He saw that, in place of the beast, was an unconscious Lilly. Lamar’s eyes widened, when he saw what was next to Lilly. Over the body, stood Elizabeth. Lamar couldn’t believe it, Elizabeth knocked it out? That easily? While he’s the one fit and she’s just some scrawny 15 year old? Elizabeth then turned to Lamar, and grabbed him by his arms, gently shaking him. “Lamar! Are you alright?! I-I was gonna hide in the closet, but I went under your bed! A-And then I heard you choking and I went out to see if you were alright, and then there was- was that thing a-a-a-a-and I kicked it in that weird cross part, and it turned into that girl!” Elizabeth said quickly, her voice filled to the brim with concern. Lamar blinked, and gently pried Elizabeth off of him. “I-I’m fine, just give me some air.” Lamar stated, rubbing his neck a bit more. It felt a bit sore. “So… Do you know how to change back into anthro form?” He then awkwardly asked after a couple of moments. Elizabeth shook her head. “No, I’ve…” She paused. “ I’ve never actually been pre-taught by my mum how to. Lamar raised an eyebrow. “Pre-taught? Can’t another centaur teach you?” He asked, confused.
Elizabeth hesitated. “Well, only royal centaurs can do it. And all my possible teachers are…” Elizabeth trailed off, staring at the floor blankly. Lamar sighed. “So you don’t know?” He said placing a paw on his forehead, as he felt like he had a headache. Elizabeth nodded. Lamar attempted to stand up, only to fall to his knees again, Elizabeth catching him. “Hey, take it easy on yourself, you just got strangled for crying out loud.” Elizabeth said softly. “What are you, a doctor?” Lamar snapped. He didn’t like being babied, he’s a grown man for crying out loud. Elizabeth visibly flinched. “S-Sorry…” She said quietly, looking away. Lamar felt bad for snapping. He couldn’t help but soften, for once in his miserable life. “Hey, don’t be. I shouldn’t have snapped at you… I’m sorry.” Lamar said. “I just… feel weird right now, okay?” Elizabeth stayed quiet, her nub for a tail twitching. Lamar looked away, before getting up, putting all his weight against the countertop behind him. “So uhm… where do you want to sleep? We were doing that, right?” Lamar said, leaning against the countertop. Elizabeth stood up as well, her hand resting on her arm. “Oh… Right. Uhm… I’ll have to look around again.” Elizabeth said. Lamar nodded understandingly, his tail swinging behind him. He walked with her around the dorm, not saying much. The only reason why he didn’t leave her alone was to make sure she didn’t get lost, or enter his room out of “curiosity.” “Hey um… I think I’d like to sleep here.” Elizabeth said, as quiet as a mouse. She pointed at a small circular bed that just happened to be in the living room. “Uh… You sure? Cause that’s the couch. I have better places,” Lamar stated, as Elizabeth looked kinda shocked. “Oh! Uhm… right! Sorry, i-it’s just that I’ve never seen a couch that looks like… that.” She stated. Lamar stared at her, slightly offended, but simply nodded. “Okay? You can still sleep here if you want, I guess.” Lamar said. Elizabeth nodded shyly. “Okay, if you say so. Anyway, have some roasted mice. You’ll love it, trust me.” Elizabeth hesitated once more, before taking a bite. Suddenly, her facial expression went… joyful? She looked up, swallowed, and smiled for the first time. “Wow! This is delicious! How’d you make it this good?! Are you a chef?! May I have some more, please?” She asked politely. Lamar couldn’t help but smile. “Well… It’s actually a secret family recipe, I’m not actually a chef. I found it in my mother’s old cookbook.” He said before taking another piece off and putting it on a plate. “Sure, here's another.” Elizabeth tilted her head slightly. “Wait, what about you?” “I’m not hungry, thanks. I had a big breakfast.” Lamar stated, before Elizabeth slightly frowned. “Ok, if you say so.” She said before eating the piece. She finished, before politely wiping her mouth. “Thank you, Lamar. That was really good.” “I really hope things get weirder…” Elizabeth said softly, but there was a hint of joking in her tone. Lamar nodded, but then there was a sudden knock on the door. Elizabeth seemed alarmed, and stood up, throwing her empty plate in the trash. “Hide the body!” She whispered to Lamar, referring to Lilly’s unconscious corpse. Lamar was shocked. “Wait, what about you?” He asked, standing up as well. “Just do it!” She said. Lamar nodded hesitantly, and reluctantly rushed over to Lilly’s body. Elizabeth waited for Lamar to be out of sight, before approaching the door. She reached a shaky hand out, before reaching the doorknob. She swung the door open, revealing… Geramia. With a mermaid tail. Her jaw dropped. Things just got weirder. --------------------------------------- Previous: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1310647413 First: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1178307927 Next: WIP
