A totally accurate simulation of natural selection where only the strongest bobbies survive its predator bobbies vs prey bobbies *arrow keys to move and observe the bobbies* how it works: ENERGY is the main source that keeps bobby cells striving. Prey can't move without it, and predators die without it. Prey can regain energy by staying still while predators gain energy by eating prey bobbies. Predator bobbies naturally lose energy and can't go too long without consuming. Prey bobbies lose energy while moving. REPRODUCTION: bobby cells prefer to reproduce asexually via mitosis. Prey cells reproduce naturally every couple of seconds while predators must eat 3 prey bobbies to reproduce. GENES: all bobby cells are born with genes that code for traits such as their speed, sight, and ability to create energy (exclusive to prey) bobby cells are a highly unstable species, meaning reproduction will always have the daughter cell have different genes or "stats". This is entirely random. NATURAL SELECTION: Using the gene mechanic, only bobbies with favorable traits can survive. This effectively creates an arms race between prey and predator bobbies.
