So here's the plan: Artifacts will be important late-game, because they provide stat percentage bonuses. They can also have other effects like how the BBS inflicts poison. Now, because early-game Artifacts don't do anything, we'll have the player be able to increase their base stats by something like defeating enemies and/or encountering an NPC that specifically boosts a stat. Also, for status effects like poison, these are pretty difficult to code in properly with the turn system, so give it a shot for the experience. Right now it shouldn't be as hard, because we don't have any animations or anything for the enemy. I set the encounter chance to always encounter an NPC for right now.
