Hey, this is more-so a project shared for some of my older scratch friends, to kinda explain my absence and such. I realize I left super suddenly so I'd like to give some of my thoughts. A few months back I was diagnosed with a lung ailment, and it kinda took a toll on me, and I left. I've had a lot of health issues for the majority of my life, and I tend to be allergic to a lot of things outside, so I've had severe chronic allergies my whole life. In the last two years I've also had recurrent pneumonia, and we always thought my breathing problems were because of the allergies and long term pneumonia. However, we got it checked out and I've had poorly monitored asthma, which has developed into a more serious issue. I would rather not get any pity from anyone, I've dealt with these conditions for a long majority of my life, it's nothing new to me. However, when I was finally diagnosed with a chronic illness I was very overwhelmed, and that's why I left Scratch. To focus on making the best of this issue, and to put my health first. I've been taking medication to reduce the inflammation in my lungs, and other stuff to ensure that my health stays well. Thankfully, as a competitive swimmer, I can still swim, and it is in fact the safest form of exercise for me, which I'm very glad about. Outside of swim I can still do land based exercise under direct supervision. But anyway, this brings me to my next point. I'll be coming back to Scratch, but I won't be as chronically online. I'm going to try to continue SWC, but other than that I will be mostly offline. In the time that I've been away from Scratch, I've recorded several covers that I would like to share, and also experienced a *very* short-lived relationship, and I did write some songs about those, so I would like to post all of that within the next few weeks.
Thank you so much <3
