EXAMPLE OF A BATTLE POST --------- (please make it more descriptive obviously) Person 1: Applewing flicked his tail behind him, chin lifted to show his massive tawny shoulders. Muscles rippling under his coat, he stuck his muzzle into Sardineswipe's face. "Sorry if I step on you by accident, little mouse." He rumbled, his eyes fixed on the small gray warrior as he very casually crossed the border. Person 2 Sardineswipe's eyes flew open in fury, then he planted his paws firmly, gazing up at the warrior's looming figure and snarled. "I'll give you ten heartbeats to get your tail back over the border." He hissed, eyes narrowed in barely controlled anger, his tail thrashing behind him. Person 1 Applewing looked down at the gray warrior, his eyes looking almost thoughtful. "Brave words for one so..." He paused, as if thinking of a word, then used a single sheathed claw to shove the warrior to the ground. "Weak." He finished. Person 2 Sardineswipe rolled over, then leaped up in uncontained anger. "Get off our territory!" He snarled, lunging forward and fixing his claws in the knot of muscle on the other warrior's back. His claws, sharp and narrow as they were, easily sliced through the tendons, and he forced himself to cling on even as the ride stumbled in surprise and pain. He felt one of his claws tear out of its place and remained lodged in the fur even as they moved their paw away. Wincing at the slow trickle of blood coming from himself, he steadied his voice and repeated, "Ready to get off our territory yet?" (Level 6: Rolled a 32 for damage, 12 for backslash) Person 1 Applewing shook the gray warrior off of his back and stared darkly at them. He could, of course, still continue fighting, but he knew his medicine cat would scold him and humiliate him. Turning away, he growled over his shoulder, "I'll be back to finish you soon." Flicking his tail arrogantly, he padded away. Person 2 Applewing breathed in relief, letting out a breath he hadn't realized he was holding in. "I'll be waiting." He muttered under his breath after the retreating warrior who slowly faded into the dimness of PoppyClan territory. ==========================================
