So guys the ST made this announcement. If you don't like to read what they're saying here's the summary in points: Q- What is NGP? NGP (Next-Generation Platform) is a major upgrade to Scratch. It comes before Scratch 4.0 and prepares for future improvements. Q-Why Scratch is doing this? To make the platform faster and more reliable, improve both how Scratch looks and how it works behind the scenes. Q-New features expected? 1. Sign in using Google 2.Better studios 3.Updated homepage and user profiles 4.Custom notifications 5.Project tagging system 6.Improved Explore page Q-What will happen during the update? The update will happen gradually. (VERY IMPORTANT) Scratch may be down for a few days during the switch. All user data will stay safe: Projects, Comments and Profiles Q-What do I have to do to move myself or my stuff to NGP? You don't have to do anything to move to the NGP. Your profile, projects, comments, studios, and backpack contents will be ready for you in the NGP when the move is complete. **Important notes!!** This is not Scratch 4.0 yet. Scratch will remain free, and more updates will be shared later. AI usage is mentioned in the FAQ, but there isn't anything final yet :(
