C2A. Title: EGPRO's new trains! EGPRO (El Garcia Public Raillway Operator) just got some new rolling stock composed of brand new and modernized stuff. Here's the update of the total fleet of EGTS (Passenger only transport and infrastructure maintenance for some trains such as the HST-P-V3.0), EGFTC (Freight and infrastructure) and EGPRO (Freight and passenger transport combined + infrastructure maintenance). Number of trains per operator: - El Garcia Transportation Services: 3495. - El Garcia Freight Train Company: Over 3780. - EGPRO: 33 (30 "full trains" + 3 "bonus locomotives"). Total fleet: More than 7308 trains. Future additions by May-June 2026: - 3 TGV "PSE" with "Compin rénovation 2011" interior. - 6 TGV "Atlantique" with "Lacroix" interior. All of these 9 TGVs will go through asbestos removal, modernization and conversion to hybrid. They will also be equipped with a PRM and express freight area. - 6 brand-new Stadler KISS regio/intercity and express freight 200 km/h capable 8-car double-deck electric multiple units with triple voltage system (750 VDC third rail, 1500 VDC overhead and 25 kV AC overhead). - 3 ex-Amtrak "Acela Gen 1" sets which are going to be rebuilt (with asbestos removal if they contain that horrid substance) and fitted with H2 fuel cells and batteries. - 24 brand new "Fire Rail Ranger" firefighting, medical and railway maintenance double-deck trimode Avelia Horizon (TGV-M) based high-speed trains. Future EGPRO-branded total fleet by May-June 2026: 75. Future EGPRO total fleet + EGTS and EGFTC fleets combined by May-June 2026: Over 7350.
