Hello all! This is a piano rendition of the anthem of the Caribbean Federation, titled “Forward is the only path” (or “Adelante es el corso” in Spanish). I have yet to create an orchestral rendition or the lyrics to the anthem, but do enjoy this simple piano part for now. In-universe, the piece was written in 2360 by Diego Rosas as a rallying cry for revolution against the dictatorship of Alfonso Garcíez. The lyrics were vague enough to evade censorship for some time, until the government got to know of its revolutionary connotations and outlawed it. Over a decade later, in 2374, the song would be played during the revolutionaries’ march on Habana and the overthrow of the Garcíez Régime; thereafter, it would be adopted as the national anthem by the revolutionary government. In real life, I came up with this melody some few years ago and I thought it would make a great anthem for something or other. I tried composing it before but it never really turned out the way I wanted. I decided to try again now, since I thought it was befitting as an anthem for my PU nation. I’ve played the cello for several years and I study music theory; I like making little compositions like this in my spare time.
