As of the beginning of 2026-27 MHL Season, 5 teams will cease to exist. Those being Fohrest HC, Andy’s Park Ravens, Coorsville Cats, Manson Skates, and Spilltown Suns. This means that there are 5 open spots for custom teams, which also means that we at MHL need YOUR help. (CUSTOM TEAMS) If you are interested in adding a team in the MHL, here are the following requirements. 1) Team CANNOT be a real team also it CANNOT be a direct ripoff from an existing/retro team. (NHL, AHL, ECHL, CHL) Example A: Portland Flyers Example B: Dallas Gulls 2) Logo cannot be a direct rip from an existing logo. Example A: A recoloring of the Flames logo. Example B: Heavily inspired Nashville Predators logo. The logo HAS to be original and made by you, NO AI. Any team caught using AI logos will automatically be disqualified. Period. 3) Location of team could be an existing city or a fake city (Most MHL teams play in fake cities) 4) PLEASE take time in making logos/creating the teams (This means that if you want to make a logo, don’t add 1 color and a letter) If you don’t have much experience in drawing, a logo will be made for you. 5) ONLY 1 TEAM PER ACCOUNT (exceptions will be made depending on how many people participate) 6) Be original, technically a continuation of requirement #2 but don’t name your team as “city name HC” or something generic like the tigers or bears
