Chapter 15: !Waring! Longest chapter yet+death/blood As MinnowClan charges across the border BadgerClan swerved to the side so they wouldn't be seen at the front. They broke off into two groups to go on each side. Silverfern charged forwards since she was supposed to lead the MinnowClan patrol. She led them to the camp and brought them to a halt when they reached it. "Three." Silverfern started, giving them time to ready themselves. "Two." One more second. "One!" They all charged into FlowerClan camp, and soon after BadgerClan joined them. The warriors and apprentices of FlowerClan padded out of their dens with wide, scared eyes. A young apprentice walked up to Silverfern. She raised her claws. "Why are you attacking us?" The apprentices asked. Silverfern blinked. "Only go for Marigoldstar. Try to avoid hurting everyone else." She called, raising her head so everyone could hear. She turned back to the apprentice. "Your leader is evil." She replied. Silverfern ran to the leader's den as the warriors of BadgerClan and MinnowClan made a path for her to go through. When she entered she saw one star gleaming in Marigoldstar's eyes. "You figured it out yet?" Marigoldstar asked. Stormgaze appeared in Silverfern's vision. "Stars in the eyes are the leader's lives." He whispered. "You have one life left." Silverfern realized. She lunged forwards, biting at Marigoldstar's neck. Marigoldstar flung her off, hissing. Silverfern lashed out at Marigoldstar's eyes then jumped ontop of her while she was still recovering from the attack. She wrapped her paws around Marigoldstar's neck and slid out her claws fast. Silverfern felt Marigoldstar buckle beneath her and fell to the ground and her blood spattered, fallibg from her neck. Dead. Forever. Silverfern back away. She left the den then jumped ontop of the high-rock of FlowerClan. "Who's the deputy?" She asked. Everyone looked around before a scrawny apprentice scrambled out of the crowd. "Me." She whispered. "Marigoldstar made me the deputy." She look just like Marigoldstar. She was her kid. "I hate her so much... everyone in the Clan wanted her dead." "Why?" Silverfern asked. "She killed... she killed Rosestar." The apprentice announced. "Her /mother/? The last leader of her Clan?" "Everyone knew but according to the warrior code she was our leader." "Who /are/ you?" "Marigoldpaw. Marigoldstar's daughter." Marigoldpaw was embarrassed to be called Marigoldstar's daughter. "You can't become leader." "No. I can't." "..." Silverfern looked around. She sighed. Raising her head, she adressed all three Clans. "Lilactail, you'll be leader." She announced. Lilactail lit up. "Thank you! As long as Marigoldstar isn't leader and we have a leader that follows the warrior code I'm good." Silverfern looked across their camp again. "We need to do a search patrol, and we need to kill the dude when we find him. Our former medicine cat, Stoneheart, was Marigoldstar's mate and is still out there. We need tk get rid of him before he hurts someone."
