After years of being elected as president with an overwhelming majority (no these are not rigged elections), President Henry Edwards I has decided to step down. He has decided to step down due to the mental exhaustion he has been facing from the recent wars and the fact that he feels that he has done enough for the Corsairian people. In an interview, President Henry said: “I believe it is time for me to allow the people to choose someone new instead of old me. People may vote me because I helped lead us into what we are today, but there are other people who could probably do better than me, yet they can’t prove it with me in the way. So it is up to them, the people, to help pave the way for our nation”. With this, President Henry has officially announced that he will resign when the war against Frankea ends as he believes that holding an election mid-war would cause a giant disturbance. After that, Henry plans to just live a normal life and feel what it’s like to be a civilian rather than a president. Henry truly has never lived a normal life due to him serving the Corsairian nation ever since it was founded. But now, maybe it’s possible.
I will hold an elections project soon so that a new leader can be elected. Also, Henry will still be a major character in th UC, but will just get more time to live normally.
