as the nations economy is finally back on track, the government has begin looking outwards and focusing more on geopolitics and trade now, under pressure from the Consorcis to secure the strategic territory of the Balearic islands, due to their strategic positioning for trade and also the touristic potential there, the nation would declare war on the small nation to take it, first the nations navy would move in to try blockade the enemy, and begin bombarding enemy ports from afar, attempting to target any naval assets or defences the balearics have, and the nations air force would begin airstrikes, trying to go after communication networks, roads and railways to disconnect the islands cities from each-over, after this marines, supported by CAS would attempt naval invasions of Palma, Ibiza and Mahon, after fierce combat in the dockyards and door to door fighting in the suburbs, the outskirts of the coastal areas of these cities would finally fall, after they are secured clear up operations would be conducted and barricades set up, and mechanised equipment and units would bes ent to the invasion sites, after this the mechanised units would attempt to try go around the cities and incircle them, being followed closly behiend by infantry who would set up defence points to actually hold the land and inforce an incirclement, when it was compete, the troops would begin advancing inwards, offensives would be mostly spearheded by infantry as mechanised units are useless in urban combat, however we would utalise the few military grade drones we have to try help in the more fierce areas of combat. After weeks of brutal, sluggish house to house combat, the urban centres would eventually fall and clean ups would again occur, after this the mechanised troops outside the cities would try rapidly set out to capture the towns and villages and other settlements on the islands, and the balearics would be incorporated into Catalonia
