Update: MORE FOG This is to test a feature that I plan to use in one of my future games. Usually, with these sorts of things, I imagine out the code of how I think it would work ahead of time. Now, this feature is for a game I have yet to "develop", and I can't "develop" it yet. (You'll see why when I upload the final project) I had already thought out the code, but I didn't know how well it would work out, because I haven't really done anything like this. And, because I can't make the game yet (for reasons you'll understand soon), I decided to make this solo project to see how well it works. I think I did a pretty good job. If you have the fog on for long enough, you'll be able to see an Epic Face fog. I hide Epic Face in all my games (except for the Madness United series of games, purely because I forgot to, and I can't go back and edit it because of how the series works). Along with epic face, I also hide a "Thanks to Toad for playtesting" in each description,- again, with Madness United as an exception. This is because one time, I put this in the description of my games when he really did play test it. After that, I thought it would be funny to put him in the description again, even though he really hadn't play tested anything. And there you have it. The reason I put "Thanks to Toad for playtesting" in all my descriptions. And, no, Toad usually doesn't play test these games, and if he does, there are usually a lot more play testers, too. For some reason, Scratch has the word "playtest" underlined in red, and that's funny because I thought it was a word. But I guess not. I'm getting a bit off-topic though. Now, we should get back to the fog. The fog first started as a ball pit game, because I wanted to be a bit more vague with my intentions. Each ball would even have their own color and brightness! However, I also wanted to test how visible things would be if it had been fog, so I scrapped the concept. Also, there wasn't always a Fog Machine in the background. There was just going to be a lot of fog, and none would despawn or respawn. Eventually, due to a bug I'll talk about shortly, I decided to have it despawn and respawn, just so that the fog would get more in the way, and because of the previosuly mentioned bug. Speaking of which, the bug was that all the fog would clump together, and even get stuck in corners, where it couldn't be moved. If you say chicken in the comments right now I will talk to you personally on Scratch about adding your own addition to my soon-to-be game, btw. If your the second person, say chicken 2, if your the third say chicken 3, and so on. I'll be more descriptive when we get there, but I thought it would be a nice reward if you got this far. There's nothing else so you can leave now. Back to what I was saying, I like this new feature, because it really does get in the way of your sight, instead of all going to one place. One other idea I had to remove this big would have been to have the fog move closer to you when it was too far away, but this also ended in the fog clumping together, as well as making it easier to see the background, which is not what I am going for. Speaking of the background, I was originally gonna add funny stickmen to jump around that you would have to look at through the fog to emphasize the importance of looking behind it. These stickmen, however, would have been way to hard to code, because I wanted them to jump around and walk around, like that one circle game someone made, I have it favorited it you want to look at it yourself, its quite good. But I decided not to have them because they would be too hard to code, and because they would have blended in with the fog, so the fog wouldn't do very much. Well, I'm running out of ideas here, so I have an idea. In my profile, I have a bunch of games I "plan" on making, so I will describe them to you now in a list: Cone's Night A FNaF type game, where you will have to survive the night against a whopping TWELVE characters! That's three times as many as Five Hour Coding Shift has. This game has voice acting, cutscenes, way more fun gameplay, three nights, plus custom night and a secret fourth night, and a LONG GOING STORY!!! This is a story I have been meaning to tell for a while but it will take quite a bit to fully tell it, and you'll only be getting one puzzle piece out of the 500 part puzzle. I am VERY close to releasing it, and all I have left to do is some audio work, all the voice calls, and the secret custscene for those who complete the custom night challenge. Expect this game very soon! Cone's Day(?) If Cone's Night is to FNaF, then Cone's Day is to DSaF. This was a complete accident, but they are extremely similar. Cone's Day takes place during the day time, and will have much more story revelvence. It will be a visual novel, like DSaF (I think, I haven't played or seen anyone play DSaF, and I've seen one guy play one visual novel so I don't even know what those are either.
(Description part 2) This game has not been in development for too long, but I have a fully working text system I made by my self, as well as a few character sprites and backgrounds, Admitidly, I don't really know what will happen in this game, other than the basic premise of what NEEDS to happen for the story to move along. Expect this game in a month or two, but it may not even come out. Chatter Sphere Fun Fact: You can find a demo of Chatter Sphere on Toad's game page. Chatter Sphere is a game about Mascot (The Mascot of my Scratch account, you'll see him on my PFP) trying to find his less-orb-shaped friend Dave. This game was in production last year, but I had to quit because I got too ambitious (a pattern you will recognize). If I came back to this game, I would lower the scope. Minimum Wage This game most likely won't be releasing, but would be really fun as a short demo. Think Pizza Tower but it;s not fast. Maybe that's a bad way to market it. Portal 0 This game won't be releasing. It got way to ambitious. This was gonna be a Portal fan game that takes place in a 2D simulation in-between Portal 1 and 2. The selling point would have been the new gels added: Cleansing Gel Wash up any unneeded Gels Repulsion Gel Bounce up instantly upon contact Propulsion Gel Walk two times faster and gain instant speed Conversion Gel Place your portal wherever this Gel is Adhesion Gel Climb up any surfaces coated in this Gel Reflection Gel Reflects anything shot at it Electric Gel Connects buttons and doors to get a pulse going Collision Gel Instantly walk through surfaces covered in this Gel Herring Gel Makes a funny monster Gasoline This is just gasoline Epic Dashers (SO BACK) Epic Dashers is a retro rouge like blah blah blah just read the games description yourself. Fries' Restaurant Tycoon This game would take place in the same universe as Cone's Night, specifically between Jonny's Kitchen and Jonny's Kitchen 2 (games you'll see up next). You would play a retro restaurant tycoon and uncover the secrets of what lies below. Jonny's Kitchen Work as an employee of an extremely suspicious restaurant and uncover the secrets blah blah basically same thing as last game. Maybe that's not a good way to market the game. Jonny's Kitchen 2 This is the sequal to Jonny's Kitchen. Work as a detective uncovering the mysteries of Jonny's Kitchen. ChatterSphere Just realizing I put Chatter Sphere on here twice but spelt different. oops! Computer Clicker TRISTAIN TV!!!!! WHOOOOO Nondescript Cup Persons This is the Cuphead game I was talking about in my April Fools upload. I got inspired by Uh Yeah's video. i'm pretty close to finishing it, but I haven't worked on it for a while for Cone's Night. This game should release soon enough if I ever care enough to continue working on it. Pixelated Prison This was one of my first EVER scratch games. I always wanted to recreate it, because I don't know what the name of the account I made it on was, and I never quite posted it. This game revolves around a grey guy, possibly with a basket ball, trying to fight the pixelation of his city, Lepix, and possibly even the enitre world! Undertale Sans Phase 2Untitled-528 remix In Undertale Sans Phase 2Untitled-528, you play as DJ Spit, fighting the evil Ses the Smellington, in his FIRST PHASE. THERE IS NO PHASE TWO FLIP YOU. ONE Simulator Play as Airy making ONE. I never got too far into this game and I never will. SAFOG Fun Fact: You can pirate SAFOG on Toad's account. SAFOG is an abandoned project in collaberation with Scary Fella. It was gonna be like 60 Seconds but with Me, Toad, Scaryfella, and someone else. Meme Storage an abandoned FNaF game where the premise was that you would fend off against dead memes. I had a few ideas for this, but I probably won't come back to it. Fun Fact: This game wouldn't exist without Meme Storage, and is very directly related to it. You'll see why soon. ONEFL Another FNaF game that had a lot less detail, meaning it wont ever see the light of day. Midnight Security Footage This is yet another scrapped FNaF fangame. It's an extremely early version of Cone's Night, so early that no monsters were planned and Cone wasn't even in it! It was originally about a cheese rat guy, with the same qualities as Cone in Cone's Night. This would also have three nights, drastically different from one and other (Im surprised I remember this, because I scrapped this four years ago). Night One would have been inside the restaurant. I actually quite like the layout for the office, because it's very claustrophobic. Night Two would have been you running away from the establishment in a forest, and eventually surviving the night in a cabin. Night Three, if I recall correctly, would have been 3D, in a strange laborenth, though I could be getting it confused with extremely early plans for Pixelated Prison. These were around the same time. I feel confdurable sharing all this because I won't come back to it. Thanks to Toad for playtesting
