im too lazy to update this, sorry :/ short explanation on what this au is about - after the malfunction incident happened, the gardenview center was shut down, and that included the toons in it. the toons didn’t want to be locked in there forever. so eventually, they managed to escape, but let’s just say SHE wasn’t going to let that happen easily. when the toons realized this, they were forced to find places to hide, and that includes your lonely house in the middle of nowhere, a perfect spot to seek refuge in. but be careful, that malfunction incident CHANGED the toons, some might not be as, friendly. as the cartoon-show counterparts. gameplay (for those of you who don't know how it works) - every night, toons will come to your porch and ask to be let in, you can choose to let them in or make them leave, if you let a toon in, they will reside in a specific spot in your house, but be careful who you let in, you have a specific amount of "energy" slots which determine how many actions you can do in a day, one of these actions lets you test a toon for signs of being a "twisted" if you spot any signs that a toon might not be what they seem. you can choose to do what must be done. there are also consumable items which have different effects such as restoring energy or even depleting it entirely. and also one of them, which lets you save the game. there's also different endings depending on what actions you make and whether you survived with toons or twisteds, ec. (if you know what inspo I got from then you'll probably already know what the gameplay is) random things about each toon because why not: - dandy is meant to represent the pale man, since dandy IS known for being able to become twisted without losing full control and go back into his toon form. it felt like it fit this au. - bobette is meant to represent the cat lady with her cat, but in this case the “cat” is instead dandy’s pet rock. - scraps and goob are meant to represent the wife with her ded husband, scraps knows that goob cant really hug her (due to paper cuts) but she refuses to let go of her little brother. - squirm cries all the time, in this au it's no different, he really does believe its the worst time ever, and all he can do is cry until its all over. poor squirm.. that's all so far ^_^ oh and if you click or press space you can see some designs for the toons in this au, I'll be updating this from time to time!!!!!!
