PLEASE READ THE WHOLE INSTRUCTIONS OR THIS EDITOR WILL BE HARD TO USE!w ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- See Platformer Maker's own internet page! ➢ Go to https://platformer-maker.github.io/ ➢ Choose a code, scan it, and have fun playing! ➢ You can also create levels and add your levels codes there. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ➢ You can also read the instructions by hovering your mouse over the gray line on the bottom of the editor ➢ Click to place a block. ➢ Press Space to switch to Editor/Play mode. ➢ You can also use the ▶, ❚❚ button (hover your cursor over the gray line on the very right) ➢ Use W and S to change blocks. ➢ Press R in play mode to reset your player's position. ➢ In Editor mode, hold M to change the position of your player. ➢ Hold M to change start position of player ➢ Press any number key (1 to 9) to change your player's color ➢ You can also use the 'color pail' button (hover your cursor over the gray line on the very right) ➢ Hold i to see information about the block ➢ To save your level, press C (in Editor mode) and wait a few seconds. Copy the code by holding Ctrl + C. ➢ To load a level code, press L (in Editor mode) and hold Ctrl + V to your paste code. Press Enter and the code will be read. ➢ You can also save and load levels by clicking on the ⇩ or ↻ buttons (hover your cursor over the gray line on the very right) ➢ To place a portal, find the "violet block with the green dot in it", press X and place the portals. ➢ Press B to switch to day/night background. ======================= Blocks: =================== ➢ Gray Block = Normal block ➢ Red Block = Don't touch ➢ Blue Block = Makes you jump ➢ Pink "X" Block = Eraser (remove blocks with that) ➢ Green Block = Sticky, pulls you down ➢ Yellow Block = End of level, level complete ➢ Light-blue Block = Water, slower gravity ➢ Right arrow Block = Pulls you to the right ➢ Left arrow Block = Pulls you to the left ➢ Purple Block = Pulls you up ➢ Snow-white Block = Ice, very slippery! ➢ Violet Block with green dot = Portal Start ➢ Violet Block with red dot = End Portal ➢ Key = Touch key to go through doors ➢ White Block with Dot = Door, can only go through if you have key ➢ Pointed Red Block = Same like red block − only pointed ➢ Dark-Blue Block with circle = No-Jump Block, cannot jump when touched ➢ Yellow block with Flag = Check-Point Block, if you touch red you'll go back to check-point ➢ Red box with key = You will lose the key if you though the block
