National Basketball Association, also known as, NBA, is a professional basketball league based in the US and Canada. The league consist of 30 teams, and was widely considered to be most popular American sports league in the world as basketball was popular worldwide. The league was founded in 1946, at the time, it was known as Basketball Association of America. The league champion series was known as the NBA Finals, and it contains the 2 best teams in each season. Like MLB, the playoff contains a series, when the team wins the series, they move onto the next round.
