(“Iméres Selínis Asteríona.” “Bampás? Ti ékana?” “Lunar, you know exactly what you did.” “What?” “Lunar Asterion Days, give me back my biskóta.” “Hehe! They are mine now, Papa!” ~~~ The next morning, it was time for the Hunters to get ready to leave. They were leaving in the afternoon, so they had a while to get their things together. Lunar helped them pack, mostly helping everyone’s things stay organized with her little OCD brain. They were all amazed at how well she managed to keep everything in their bags neat. She got a bit grumpy at their staring, as they were supposed to be packing. Lunar helped them pack their things, and they were done in just over an hour. After they finished, they went to breakfast. They had all woken up early, so that they could pack then enjoy the rest of the day. Thalia had told Lunar they were leaving in the afternoon, so they all wanted to enjoy their last couple hours together. After breakfast, they just sat under a tree and joked around. Lunar had gotten permission from Chiron to skip her morning activities, as long as she did her chore in the afternoon. They talked and joked and made fun of Lunar for her crush on Kai. Lunar blushed every time his name was brought up. When lunch finally rolled around, they all ate in silence. It was almost time for them to go. Lunar finished eating before them, and after a while, heard her name. “Lunar!” Her mother was calling her, so Lunar stood and went to her. “Yes, Mother?” She asked, smiling. “You already know that we are leaving this afternoon, but I wanted to make sure you have decided to stay here.” Artemis said, a small smile appearing on her face. Lunar’s smile faltered slightly, she had been doubting her choice to stay, given how much fun she had been having with the Hunters. But then, a dimpled smile appeared in her mind. Kai. She had too much of a crush on him to swear off love. “I’m sure, Mother. I need some time to figure my life out.” Lunar replied after a moment, still thinking of Kai. *By the Underworld, how far am I going to go?* Lunar thought. Artemis nodded at Lunar response. “That’s alright, Lunar. If you ever change your mind-” Lunar interrupted her, “I know. It’s always there.” Artemis nodded again. “Well, I should go make sure the girls are ready to go. You are going to see us off, yes?” She asked tentatively. Lunar nodded, smiling. Artemis smiled back, then walked off. Lunar walked off as well, with no particular place in mind. She didn’t head back to the Hunters because they needed time to get ready to go. As she walked, her mind drifted back to Kai. He was one of the reasons she was staying. Maybe she would realize she didn’t really like him, and lose her crush eventually. Maybe not. No mortal, who’s not an oracle, can tell the future. Lunar had recently been told of the camp’s current oracle, Rachel Elizabeth Dare. From what Lunar had heard, she would be a good person to teach Lunar about the modern world. She hadn’t arrived at camp yet, as the summer had just started. Lunar hoped to meet her when she arrived though, and ask for some guidance. As Lunar walked, she realized she had subconsciously made her way towards the Athena Cabin. She blushed, realizing her brain had subconsciously made its way towards Kai. Lunar sighed, wondering how she thought she had any chance with him. Her crush kept growing with every interaction. “I’m so hopeless.” She said aloud. “Having a crush on him. He’s so…perfect. I’m…” She sighed again. She had stopped outside of his cabin, just standing there. She was about to keep walking, when she heard a voice call her name. “Lunar!” It was him, jogging towards her. “Oh… Hey.” She said quietly. “You ok? You sound…down.” He said, smiling at her. She nodded, smiling back. “Are you going to see the Hunters off?” Lunar asked. He nodded. “They’re about to leave. Want to walk with me back to your cabin?” He asked, cocking his head. “Sure. Let’s go.”
