Permanent eye bags. Long wavy ginger hair, usually tied up. Sometimes wears very small earrings. Wears long-sleeved button-ups with sweaters, sweater vests, or cardigans, slacks or high-waisted pants, and boots or Mary Janes. Paraplegic, full-time wheelchair user. ° . • ~~ ~~ ~ ~~ ~~ • . ° Gentle, polite, caring. Desensitized, distrustful, no filter when tired. Soft-spoken, highly intelligent, honest. Likes cooking, house plants/gardens, art, reading (especially classic lit.), and learning / studying languages. Hates coffee, stairs, and overly-strict rules. ° . • ~~ ~~ ~ ~~ ~~ • . ° Lived in England for most of his childhood with a French mother and British father, until they split up and he moved to the U.S. to live with an aunt and cousin (Felix). Later, he was married for a time to a man (William), but they divorced—partly due to Valery coming out as trans, but mostly due to the car crash that disabled him. He moved to New Hampshire and took a job at Bullworth shortly after fully recovering. Personal HCs / OOU Info for fun: - He never changed his name from his birth name, just didn't feel the need. His surname, however, is completely made up—it's not from his family or his marriage. - Really really likes languages. Like...a lot. He learns languages for fun. The accents are all ridiculous though. - Fluent in French, English, German, and Latin; passable with Spanish, Italian, and ASL; currently learning Ukrainian and Korean (all just for fun, mind you). - Adores bright colors and fun patterns. - Sometimes called "old man" for being so old-fashioned and doting. - Favorite tea is Earl Gray with a little milk and no sugar. - Enjoys projecting whimsical androgyny.
