═════.❁.══════ Plant of the tn: Snowdrop! I did the dog art study and really enjoyed it :D So I decided to try birds. This was a really fun experience, and I feel like drawing birds comes much easier to me! ━━━━━━━━━━ 1. Kicking it off strong with a male house sparrow! I really love the coloration on these birds, and I think I did pretty well, but I also know the color does add the most to the drawing :3 2. Now me trying to like understand things while also being pretty goofy, tbh I didn't use this much, but I still like having it :) I might even redo it soon with my new knowledge 3. A California wren! I've been seeing these birds quite often, so I wanted to give one a try. I really suck with the upward tails and small eyes. So I definitely need to have a bit more practice on these guys :D 4. A Morning Dove! I'm really proud of this! I think the colors blended perfectly when I made this! I really love the brush I use! It was also one of the first references I used that wasn't in lighting, which definitely helped when I was coloring and picking the colors! 5. California Chickadee :D Ahhh! I love chickadees! This didn't turn out super well, but I do still love how the colors blended, and the lineart is also pretty simple T-T 6. Female house sparrow! I've seen these around a lot, and I decided, why not draw one? I like how it turned out, but I do think I messed up the beak a bit :S And the lineart is pretty simple :sobs: 7. A cowbird! Ive been seeing these a ton recently, and I love how they look! So yippe :3 Though this guy looks actually so grumpy 8. Bluejay! I love how bluejays look despite them being big bullies lol, it is kinda driving me crazy that it's facing left while they're all facing right T-T 9. Hooded crow! Echo, Valerianthorn's companion, is a hooded crow, so I decided to draw a realistic one, so I guess this is Echo...Idk lol Thanks for reading this! And next up will be a wolf art study! I enjoyed doing birds, but they actually weren't that hard :3 So wolves will be a nice challenge! ═════.❁.══════
