I can see that a lot of people are talking about AI art, making thousands of studios and otherwise. Sadly, absolutely no one is informing others on the dangers of AI writing. I'm going to change that with this project. <3 When a human writes, even if it's garbage, there's still this messy process of wrestling with ideas, making choices, and putting part of themselves into it. AI just processes patterns and spits out text that looks like writing but lacks that human struggle. When an AI writes a story or essay, it lacks any feeling or soul. It feels bland and repetitive, and is overall very confusing to read--it forgets story elements in seconds, and loses a lot of coherence the longer the plot goes on. Literature is art, writing the ingredients of a shampoo isn't. Neither are prompts. Fun fact: basically everything AI writes is technically plagiarism. Where do you think the text it spits out comes from? Hm.. let's think. AI is a robot, and can't think up entire plots on its own. Therefore, it steals from humans, or actual writers who worked hard on their plots and never gave consent for it to be stolen from them. AI writing is a massive problem online. I keep seeing advertisements about AI programs that make "original stories," which is just sad. Not to mention that writers are posting AI-generated slop online and calling it a day. They sell novels that look perfectly fine, but have horrible plots with the AI prompts typed out right in the middle. Quite literally, they are so lazy that they can't even bother to delete the prompts, and make lots of money off of it. ^^
