XC with Warrior Long update As the showing season is coming up, me and one of my newer (and spirited) horses have been working hard! I’ve currently been introducing eventing to him and, I’d say, he’s been doing excellently! He has a lot of fight (you could say) in him and I find he prefers XC out of the 3 eventing disciplines, I guess because it’s more fast paced? Well I excited to compete with him! Once I came out into the meadow where the XC course starts I could feel him ready to go, we had taken a long time first warming up on the lunge then on the trails so I was pretty sure I wasn’t gonna get bucked off! When I brought him toward the first jump he basically flew straight over, not the best way to start Warrior! After jumping a few more I decided to call it a day, he seemed pretty tired a difference from the start of the jumping! I am very pleased with the way he’s been doing!
