Chapter One Urchin swam happily through the ocean currents. The world is so peaceful now that The War Of SandWing Succession is over. Urchin thought. Now that the war was over, Urchin realized he would have to go to school again. Maybe Mom and Dad will let me go to that new school, Jade Mountain Academy. I think one of the many princes said it was nice there. The Academy was located inside of Jade Mountain, in the middle of Pyrriha. But wait, didn’t a bomb go off there? And didn’t a bunch of students and the director go missing? Maybe I shouldn’t go there after all… As night fell Urchin wondered if he would be safe at Jade Mountain Academy, or safe at the SeaWing school in his neighborhood. I’ll ask Mom and Dad if I can go. I really think leaving the Sea Kingdom would be good for me. As Urchin swam through the arched entrance to his house, he saw that his best friend, Kelp, was sitting at his dining room table. “Oh hey, Kelp. What are you doing here?” asked Urchin. “I was coming over to ask you if you were going to Jade Mountain Academy, like I am.” replied Kelp. “Well I was Just about to ask my parents.” said Urchin.
