Hi! I'm Rae, (Transfem, She/her). (Time zone: CST) - Age range: 14-16, weekdays are 12-12:30 pm and 5-9 pm and weekends are from 9-10 am and 2-8 pm. I do have school to balance but I usually can get on during my free time at school. I also can stay moderating entire nights (From about 8pm-8am) Positive aspects of me being in a manager role -------------------------------------------------------------- I am quick to spot rule breakers, active very often, and perform well (if not better) under higher management positions. I will not hesitate to devote personal free time to the Gaehive and would gladly spend nearly the whole day managing if given the opportunity. I believe that the Gaehive is a place that is supposed to make people feel safe, accepted, and loved. I would love to take extra steps to make sure that every individual in the hive feels secure. I am also extremely professional, I will never speak unprofessionally when working with trolls/rule breakers or other professionals. I also take accountability. If I slip up or make a mistake and I get called out I take responsibility and apologize. I am also very accepting, I will never discriminate or harass anyone for any reason. Negative aspects of me being in a manager role --------------------------------------------------------------- I tend to blur lines between rule breaking and jokes/silly statements. This can cause me to accidentally take a joke too seriously and punish it, or be too lenient to a rule breaker.I’ve been practicing by asking for clarification in ambiguous situations before acting. I also sometimes can come off as too energetic and that oftentimes gets mistaken as aggressive or annoying behavior. I am hyper-aware of my performance and constantly seek to improve. While I sometimes over correct my behavior, I am dedicated to maintaining the positive attitude of the Hive ensure I'm representing the studio correctly. Also even though I work well under pressure sometimes if stress is too much I bottle it up, leading to a burst of stressed out emotions later on. When this happens I take breaks on my computer and do not take it out on others, but it's still something to note. I am emotionally sensitive. When I accidentally break a rule or someone gets snappy at me I take it the wrong way sometimes and break down. While I am emotionally sensitive, I usually step back to decompress so that my personal emotions never interfere with my manager duties or the safety and security of the members. I’m actively working on these negative areas and I am committed to attempting to become the best manager I can be for the Gaehive. Ideas that I have for improving the hive ---------------------------------------------------- - I've noticed recently that the Gaehive Euphoria & Positivity Studio has been completely lacking managers responding (likely because there are no curators). I think that we should put some dedicated people on that studio, because more than half the comments on that studio are left unnoticed and usually ignored, which can sometimes cause negative feelings. What being a manager means to me + responsibilities ------------------------------------------------------------------------ - I believe that being a manager of the Gaehive is a role where you must maintain a positive environment for everyone, and you must be respectful and kind no matter what. I believe that responsibilities would include active moderation, enforcement of rules, etc. The Gaehive is a positive environment where people feel safe and accepted, and it's a managers job to keep it that way. My Gaehive manager recommendations ----------------------------------------------------- - I recommend , they're a highly active member and I've seen them do very good rule enforcing among trolls and people breaking the rules in general. They have an extensive application and they deserve it way more than I do. - I also recommend , he is a very active member of the community, he's extremely friendly and nice to be around, and enforces the rules well. - is a very active, well known member of the community. I have seen them enforce rules while remaining professional and strict. They would be a very good manager. That's all for my manager application! I poured a total of three hours into typing all of this so I appreciate you reading! :3
I was previously @g00b-4, which was made on April 15, 2026. I moved here due to being harassed on my previous account.
