“The Ichor Spill” Prologue - Sprout [Rewrite] It’s been a week now, a week since “IT” happened. The thought of it keeps me up at night. It keeps all of us up at night, it all happened so fast… too fast. Shelly turned twisted, ichor started to come out of pipes, a fire started.. It was all so terrifying. No one knows who did it or how it all started. I'm just happy and well some of my friends are alive. None of us are if anyone else is alive… All we know is it's just us and only us in that room themed after me, the cafe room. We’re in some security room or something. We're not so sure about that though it has to be though, with all the cameras. All I know about it is we’ve never been in here until now. A-anyways we’ve been running out of food, water, and other supplies lately, sure all of the things that we need are outside of the room. But we can’t get them due to all of the twisteds around this place. I’m not so sure what to do, there's a lot of things I’m not so sure about like if Astro has been giving us bad dreams, nightmares. A lot of the group has been waking up in the middle of the night screaming from fear and I think it’s because of Astro. I try not to scream from fear of the nightmares though, I don’t want to scare anyone, they’re all counting on me to keep us safe and…- “Sprout!! Sprout!!... SPROUT!! ARE YOU THERE???” said Cosmo, waving his arm in front of my face, seeing if I’m awake. He looked worried, he sounded worried, I really was deep in thought wasn’t I? I was looking at this dang wall for a long time… “SPROUT!! CAN YOU HERE ME??? ARE YOU OK??” Cosmo screamed in panic, waving his arm harder. “H-Huh… OH UH… Y-YEAH COSMO I’M OKAY I’M OKAY!!” I said, jumping a little, snapping back to reality, “I’M SO SORRY… I’m-... sorry for scaring you. I really am Cosmo.” “Hey! Can you two keep it down!.. We’re trying to get the food, remember? We don’t need twisteds coming over right now.” Vee said in a quiet voice, looking at us angrily. “Oh.. yeah sorry Vee.. What happened, Cosmo? How long did I zone out for..? It wasn’t that long right?” I say quietly so Vee doesn’t get mad again. “Sprout… You were looking at that wall for 10 mintues… Are you sure you’re okay..?” Cosmo said, genuinely sounding worried for me. “Cosmo it’s fine, I’m okay I was just deep in thought I..-” I managed to say before Cosmo pulled me into a hug. “Just.. Try not to do that again. Okay?” said Cosmo, ending the hug, “I just wanna make sure you’re okay, sorry for disturbing you by the way.” “Hah.. No it’s okay really! You were worried for me and you checked on me so it’s okay!” I said, standing up reaching my hand out for Cosmo to grab. Maybe this whole “Ichor Spill” will get better, and everything will go back to normal after I… I mean… My friends and I will fix this! Looey ran into the room dropping unopened food and water onto the floor, ran up to me, jumped on me, and gave me a big hug, “Sprout!!! Look! Astro and I got more food for all of us!” “... uh… yeah we did..” said Astro, looking at Looey and I hugging then looking away. “Guys.. Calm down okay? Just shut up… Before any twisteds get in..” said Vee with an annoyed look, quickly and quietly shuting the door. Astro walked over to the door with a key and locked it. “Me and Sprout can start on the food!” Cosmo said carefully, smiling at me. “Cosmo look, how about I make the food on my own today? You all need to rest, and well, I already got mine.” I said smiling back at Cosmo. “Ok fine… But I will make it with you next time. Okay Sprout?” said Cosmo, fiddling with his bracelet. “Ok! I promise” I said, walking over to pick up the food on the ground.
