Voidia is isolated. That is a fact. It chose to stay isolationist early on and now it is surrounded. In all fairness this isn't at all the fault of other nations. Voidia was simply too exhausted after a large scale expansion wave and needed to recover. Not only that but the Gemati-Compact war forced Voidia into recovery. Not many Voidians would be brave enough to admit this but: GASI by an extent helped Voidia. It gave it pressure and gave it valuable lessons. Even as the war was a defeat Voidian propaganda has also been spinning the war as a show of Voidian might, pointing out that they stalled the feared Gemati and were only pushed back because the Gemati used sheer numbers. However it was not just the fear of economic, military, or logistically collapse that made Voidia surrender. It was because the Voidian government knew the population. The population was actively willing to push themselves into a wood chipper without second thought. If the war had gone on the Voidian people would have likely resorted to not listening to Voidian Hive Command and doing su*dial massed charges against the Gemati. This fear of massed population loss is what ultimately made Voidia surrender. The government knows this. It was caused by stupid desicions made long ago that have been so ingrained into Voidian culture that attempting immediate change would be impossible. Not only that but GASI reparations forced Voidia to improve its economy which in the end is what helped it become an economic powerhouse. Of course it cannot be compared to factions such as the Gemati themselves and the Greater Sphere but it is still quite an impressive industry. Every year it makes tens of metric tons of antimatter which it supplies to the galaxy. This money is not only used to pay off debts but also to buy technology from other nations. The Gematis intention to handicap Voidia in fact did the opposite. It forced ignorant, nihilistic people to do something that made them more powerful: improve. Not only that but Gemati Voidian relations themselves are improving. Day by day they improve and Voidia continues to expand its industry. However a new technology has come that could render the Voidian antimatter industry obsolete. Grand Unified Theory. A technology Voidia ITSELF has been spearheading. But why make technology that would actively destroy your industry? Well... it would only ever destroy your industry... if it went mainstream. Voidia intends to keep the internal workings of GUT technology a secret. It isn't going to just give out GUT technology like free candy. Not even to its most trusted allies. GUT technology is not only a game changer in the military, its also a game changer for physics. This technology can further spear head and improve Voidias knowledge of the universe. Voidias plan in the event that antimatter becomes less profitable is to expand the economy. Voidias has many exports that would be valuable. Maybe not normal metals (their would be so much of that stuff that it would literally be useless to make a profit from in most economies) however synthetic materials such as graphene and materials unique to individual planets. It also has a near total monopoly in smart material (no one seems to use this stuff except me ok) which too can be sold. The main Voidian export is at this point antimatter, planet unique materials, and smart materials. This makes the Voidian economy far more flexible and efficient. However it isn't all sun shines and rainbows. Quite the opposite actually. Now in all honesty Voidia invaded Aculon first but Aculons unfiltered aggression in expansion has left Voidia utterly isolated without land to expand. This has caused major distrust. Not only that but the defeat in the Compact war has left Voidia utterly humiliated within its home pocket universe. Smaller more ambitious nations have been taking advantage of Voidia with constant offensives and raids. However strangely enough the Voidian population doesn't actually hate the Aculon. In fact its quite the opposite they view them as powerful ambitious people a sort of friendly rival you could say. In all fairness, Voidia doesn't actually have that many allies. Its isolationist nature means that it rarely participates in foreign affairs. It was the Compact war that forced Voidia out of its cave. To interact with the rest of the Galaxy. At the mean time, at this point there is likely a Dyson swarm in the majority of Voidias system which gives Voidia absurd power generation. This power has been used to make new experimental technology. Specifically technology to make pocket dimensions.
