oh my sweet songbird, i admire how you can look to the heavens all starry-eyed, the sky a kaleidoscope reflected in your pupils. you look up mesmerized at those far away solar systems. but do you really think all your answers lie among those stars? those pinpricks of light are simply shrapnel blurring your vision. digging into your eyes relentlessly, a punishment from those above. and the sky is falling down, for infinity is more weight then anyone can bear. my dear dandelion what will you do when the stars come crashing into the earth? you are no titan you pray and hope for something brighter, letting those stars guide your way. letting go from all that's familiar toward all that's strange even when the skies grow foggy. you keep on searching for something brighter, letting go of your roots floating untethered on the breeze. taking those reckless risks, giving it all up in order to search for something, but what are you searching for in the first place? what are you hoping to find on your endless journey was your sacrifice worth it? is it love that propels you forward, the want to feel cared for and appreciated, searching for a connection that even the stars couldn't recreate? or is it adoration and a undying protectiveness for those you care about, the internal need to make them proud and to protect their wellbeing? perhaps its simply a learned obsession and fear of those stars, the stars that can grant wishes, and store souls, that can punish those who embrace the shadows instead of peering into the light those wonderous, deadly, mystical, vengeful stars. perhaps its a mix of all those things that even you don't understand. maybe all you do understand is that you need to do something, there are wrongs you need to right. you leave your origins behind in order to drift on a wind, hoping it might bring you somewhere brighter then where you we're before just a tuft of pale white fur hoping to take root in richer soil you risk everything but chance was never your acquaintance and that is the greatest folly of all.
