Grab your trusty underwater pin [trademark] and get ready to pop those pesky Co2 bubbles! If one of those annoying little bratty bubbles touchies the coral, it starts draining its lives! Oh Noes! Don't let that happen-stab, stab, STAB that bubble before the coral croaks! Now remember, kids [or adults, I don't know you age], keep the coral safe, keep popping, and show those Co2 bubbles who's boss!
This game is based off the problem of coral bleaching. What is it? Well, coral bleaching happens when corals get stressed—most often because the ocean is getting too warm due to rising Co2 levels. Corals normally live in partnership with tiny algae called zooxanthellae. These algae provide food and give corals their vibrant colors. When stressed, the coral expels the algae. Without them, the coral loses its main source of nutrients and turns ghostly white. Sometimes, if conditions improve quickly, the algae can return and the coral recovers. But if the stress lasts too long, the coral may starve and die. I used A.I to revise this explanation.
