RainClan. A clan of the swamp. From the original RP call/welcome project: "Long furred tall cats, with light builds. They live in a towering rainforest, littered with bogs and swamps. Their connection with StarClan flickers like a flame, giving their kits names that relate to water. They are often open and welcoming, but warnings given heavily." Known for their kind nature, but de-dly territory, swallowing cats whole from the depths. RainClan is hugely connected with StarClan, their only rival that of OasisClan. They've been harsh to new cats for their protection, and their connection with StarClan guides them to be wary over the cats of DeepClan, RubbleClan, RefugeClan, Shallows, and Half-Faced. Are these suspicions true? ` Clan Territory ` Settled in the luscious rainforest, these territories are littered with bogs and swamps, where crocodiles lie in wait, where cranes fight the hunters for food, where the maw of the murky water opens and swallows cats whole. This Clan relies on stories to harbor their connections, so many images are sketched into the drier parts of the swamps and rainforest. A vary basic name due to lack of creativity lol. ` Clan Builds ` These swamp-living cats reside in such dangerous conditions, that they've adapted to this. RainClan cats tend to have long fur, elongated limbs, and small claws. They have light builds for leaping from one dry patch to another, and have long tails for balance. Their tails are usually thin, different from the rest of their bodies, their fur often browns and auburns, tabbies as well. Their eyes are mostly green, amber, brown, or blue. ` Clan Beliefs ` RainClan's belief lies in StarClan, always. Many of their ceremonies are StarClan led, and they call the marshes and bogs, and those taken by them, "the star's rebalance" due to their belief that all Clans are equal, besides StarClan, of course. They hold medics at high accords, and medics are what determine the next step, mainly in wars, famines, prophecies and others. ` Clan Behaviors ` RainClan cats hunt whenever, and many cats hunt in groups for safty. If you go hunting alone, you have a higher chance of drowning! They hunt things like lizards, birds, snakes, young crocodiles, and anything they come across. New cats are treated with harsh comands and camp confinment to keep them safe. Apprentices are first taught the code, then saftey measures before any other training. They name their young by thins that have to do with water, their territory, or weather. ` Special Rules ` Ranks: Medics are highest, then leader, deputy, medic apprentice, and senior warriors. In this clan, Senior warriors are considered a high rank, so you have to personally be made one! Joining: RainClan is full of welcoming cats, but joining is diswaded, due to the dangers of living there. Becuase of this, I added an interesting twist! When joining this Clan, for your sp (skill points) to be transfered to theirs, you maust first survive a hunt! This is a 10% chance of de-th, don't worry it's mainly for lore. Special Skill: Wading! May change this name but I could think of anything better, but it's basically the "art" of not sinking, dodging deeper parts, etc. You can gain this sp by swimming, bog-hopping, hunting, and fishing! ` RainClan under Drizzlestar ` Drizzlestar is paranoid, in a word. Unending kindness and support, but xey are often glancing behind xeir shoulder. Xey have these... habits. Gazing at the stars too long, asking when the next gathering is, what season it is, when the Fog will be gone. Xey're quite a strange cat. Whispers rake its claws through xeir head, and if you stumble upon Drizzlestar alone, it's quite a sight to see. Rocking back and forth, paws desperatly clawing the ground, et cetera. But nocat questions it. Drizzlestar otherwise is your typical leader. Rewards goodness and punishes reasonably. Like you'd expect.
