Susan Swansen, known better as Susie, was a very observant girl. She could easily calculate or notice things others might not be able to, such as the number of ants on the sidewalk or the meanings of the subtle details in a book or movie. Despite this, she would fail to realize on her own that she and her friends could be in immediate danger. "Susie! There's something I've got to tell you guys!" Jeremy whispered loudly, as to avoid drawing attention to himself. "Oh, okay! Are we whispering now? Is this what we're doing?" Susie whispered back. "Yes, but that's not important right now. Listen, Susie, Fritz, Cassidy, you've all heard about William Afton, right? Evil guy, killed two kids ten years ago after the original pizza place burned down, nobody hears much from him anymore?" Jeremy whispered frantically. Fritz and Cassidy looked at each other, wondering where this was headed. Susie shifted uneasily. "Y-yeah, I know of him, but... why are you bringing this up?" "He owns this place, Susie, and he's here *right now*. I saw him talking to the crowd out front. He could be planning something terrible right under our noses, and we'll all be goners!" Jeremy whisper-yelled. "Seriously?" Fritz interrupted. "That pathetic guy outside was Afton? Is this a *joke*, Jeremy?" "A joke? You think I'd joke about this? Fritz, we need to get out of here!" Jeremy was now near a regular volume; luckily, it was hard to hear him over the sounds of the arcade and the music from the stage. Cassidy gestured to the front doors. "It'd be pretty hard to just leave, idiot. This place is full to the brim." Cassidy was right. The only way out was blocked by a huge crowd of people, shoving past each other to get to where they wanted. Not only that, but there was a security guard watching people go in and out to make sure nobody seemed shifty. Susie, however, could see another way out, though it wasn't exactly what would be considered respectable. But by the logic of a child, or anyone else in a predicament such as this, might seem rational. "We could try the fire exit," Susie blurted. "That way we could leave, and... and get everyone else out of the building too." She had hoped that maybe they would ignore her or dismiss her, but for a brief moment, the group paused. Fritz slowly began nodding his head. "Yeah... yeah, that could work." Cassidy nodded too. "Sounds like a plan to me." Susie, now regretting even speaking up in the first place, glanced at Jeremy, hoping maybe he'd veto the idea. "...As long as we all get out of here safely, then I'm fine with it," Jeremy said slowly. Susie grimaced. This was going to head downhill fast. The four walked as casually as they possibly could to the fire exit, trying hard to evade notice. "On three, I'm gonna open the exit, and we'll all make a run for it," Cassidy instructed quietly once they reached the exit. "One... two..." "Just what do you kids think you're doing!?" yelled the security guard. - End of Chapter 2 -
Came out a day later than intended (Sunday rather than Saturday) because when trying to copy and paste the project text into my complete TDoF Google Doc, I accidentally DELETED THE ENTIRE HECKING CHAPTER AND HAD TO RETYPE IT ALL Also, from now on I intend to post at least one chapter every two weeks, hopefully more :> Also also, I might switch to a comic format later on rather than written chapters! (Not anytime soon, but likely once we reach the final third) Music - I'll add it later (most music in these chapters will be [usually older] Kirby and Pokemon music, as that's what I grew up with and to this day still vibe to) FNaF and its characters owned and created by Scott Cawthon Next - Previous - https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1277197284/ First - https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1276703859/
