time stood still more still than a statue a statue that was never made to move but was always meant to walk the room was quiet quieter than a mirror a mirror that spoke truth in reflections yet it never showed truth in you the air was cold colder than a polar bear but warmer than a summer day in florida heat these lines may sound confusing they may sound like nonsense in a poem but even if they are they carry wonder and truth a truth we’ve yet to discover maybe too great for human life so we scroll too much on social media obsess over diets work out too much and forget that in the end all we really need is a little bit of wonder
written by me this poem is about how life can feel confusing and full of contradictions, yet there’s still something real and important in that confusion. the poem discusses how people can get distracted by things like social media and the pursuit of perfection, and as a result, they overlook the small moments of wonder that make life meaningful. i would rlly appreciate people not adding my projects to studios that are not related to writing or to other studios without my consent, thanks! <3
