[Chapter 1: M-002 - Astro Novalite] Astro sat on a bench, staring at Dandy's shop from afar. He blinked, his brow furrowing in concern and confusion, before he looked forward, summoning one of his magic hands and putting it on his blanket where Dandy grabbed him earlier. Dandy's grip was so rough... tight. His star hand shifted slightly, messing with the fabric, almost pulling the blanket off his shoulders. He stopped instantly, pulling the blanket back up, sighing quietly. "Hey, Novalite." Dyle's voice came from around the corner, making Astro flinch and turn his head. "Yeah?" "You're the...dream toon, the one who can control and enter dreams right?" Dyle tilted his head. Astro's hands underneath the blanket tightened, but he nodded. "Y-Yes...why?" He muttered. Dyle crossed his arms and stared at Astro for a moment, before mentioning over to Dandy's shop. Astro looked over, seeing Vee arguing with Dandy, and Dandy was actually arguing back instead of trying to avoid the argument like he usually does. Astro narrowed his eye, his star doing a small flip, before glancing back at Dyle. "What about him?" He asked. Dyle sighed, his foot tapping on the ground. "I was wondering if you could make Dandy tired, or something." He said, shrugging. "Why?" Astro slowly stood up off the bench, staring at Dyle. "No reason. Just wondering..." Dyle shook his head, before turning around, walking off, the chains dragging behind him like a snake. Astro watched for a moment, before looking over towards Vee, who was walking back from Dandy's shop, her antenna twitching in annoyance. "What did you two argue about this time?" Astro asked, walking over to her. Vee sighed, her expression softening slightly. "Just trying to ask why he doesn't want us to go down the elevator anymore." She muttered. "He kept saying things about 'safety'. It annoyed the hell out of me!" She growled, before reaching in the pocket of her suit and taking out a key, flipping it in her finger a few times, before tossing it to Astro. Astro flinched, reaching out his star hands and grabbing it, fumbling slightly, before he stared at it with confusion. "What is this?" He asked, looking over at Vee slightly. Vee smiled. "Just the one thing that Dandy was trying to protect. The elevators are barricaded, sure, but what do you say we go down the stairs to see what he's really hiding?" Astro's star hands slightly trembled and he lowered them just slightly, looking at Vee. "You really think he's...hiding something?" He asked nervously. "That flower's always hiding something! Only this time..." "He made it more open." Astro finished, looking back at the key in his hands. "Exactly." Vee nodded, before walking off. Astro stood there, before following after.
