ggggGOSH the improvement is crazyy~~ even though it's only been a few months difference hey it might be a little unfair since the 2025 one was drawn in IBISpaint x (with an apple pencil.. yea I gave up using those back to finger drawing) instead of magma but I mean I ain't drawing like that again so I guess it's an improvement. First of all uhh what oh yeah major color difference mostly cuz I uhmm idk I also used more brushes (wow not the chalk one you use for everything?) sorry chalk brush </3 but yea different brush and also the headband thingy. Work smarter not harder bros (unless you're me and don't work harder or smarter) I literally drew all those individual circle patterns in the lace when I could've done that thing and just used a brush to mimic the pattern T^T Also you might not see it but cursive handwriting improvement? (no I think it's honestly a downgrade my normal handwriting is horse dung why is the spacing so chopped I don't even know cursive) ALSO I'm proud of the flower pattern in the ear cover since it actually has shading and stuff and I struggled a lot with the old version's flowers and they ended up looking horse dung so having the flowers actually looking like flowers is a big yipee! Oh and the shading overall, I used a lot more bounce light for the newer one (you can see it in the white collar reflecting a little bit of the skin and hair tone) and like a blue fade for the hair (low taper fade???) I watched a bunch of elusive Bouquetd'or animations and figured out her outfit better (the leaf pin thing is more to the left and I was able to simplify the hole patterns) Also looked at some cosplays for the dress. I kinda want one of those Bouquet cosplays though they look so pretty hhuuummmm.... Also sorry if you can't notice (grrr blue multiply layer covered my hard work >:((( ) the slight lighter fade on the hand in the newer piece since I thought the contrast wasn't that great (cuz like you can barely see the fingers) and I thinkk that MAYBE made it stand out idkk uh halftone I like likely a lot makes the shine pop more mhm oh and yk that dress pattern uhh ermm cough cough one word: SUFFER (it wasn't that bad stop exaggerating vro </3) I don't even have a process? umapyoi. does anyone else use 67+ layers anymore? no? anybody? be afraid.
