We arrived at the lunch hall, which had multiple large caves along the cavern walls. “There are many types of foods available here. The Prey Center has, well, prey animals. Over there is a pile of fish. Mainly for Seawings. And fruits for normally Rainwings,” Heron said. This is gonna be weird to eat whole animals. We both headed toward the Prey Center, passing many other dragons on the way. A Rainwing heading towards the fruit section. Two Seawings talking while walking to the fish area. A Skywing and Sandwing chatting at the entrance of the Prey Center. I stepped into the Prey Center with Heron by my side. I stared at the large amounts of sheep, cows, pigs, and chickens deeper into the cave. I also spotted a few humans, players, or scavengers. “Um, is that a scavenger?” I questioned, pointing a claw towards a wall near the entrance. “It is a scavenger. Why?” Heron replied. “Just have never seen one before. I have only heard of them.” I stated. I watched as the people huddled in the corner of a box, observing the passing dragons with fear. “The dark purple dragon with glasses is watching us,” a human whispered. A perk of having excellent hearing. “Heron, you can go ahead. I will catch up with you later,” I said. “Alright,” Heron replied. He jogged toward the area with cows. I walked over to the scavengers and crouched next to them. Since I was closer, I could see five people total. “Hey, there humans!” I whisper cheerfully in English. The people’s jaws dropped open. “You can understand us?!” a woman exclaimed. “Of course I can. I can speak a couple of languages after all. Including English,” I responded. “How?” a man stammered. I thought about my past as a player and said, “Let’s not discuss that. What are your names and ages?” “Robin, 15. Theo, 22. Alice, 18. Nate, 25. Silas, 16,” each human stated. “Nice to meet you all, I am Cloudstrike...or Crow,” I said. “Crow?” Robin questioned. “A name I used in the past. Though Cloudstrike is just fine,” I verified. I glanced behind me, “I am gonna head to lunch. See you all later!” I waved with a talon. I turned around and walked deeper into the Prey Center. I spotted Heron eating cows and joined him. I snatched a cow in my talons and paused. Here we go. I took a bite. Oh. It’s not as bad as I thought it would be. “What took you so long?” Heron complained. “I was fascinated by the scavengers,” I responded, taking another mouthful. “What class do you have next?” Heron asked while leaving the lunch hall. “History. You?” I said. “Same here. I will warn you about our history teacher, Webs. He is a tad bit strict,” Heron responded. “Good to know,” I thanked. Interesting. A former Talon of Peace as a teacher. The gong rang. Finally. The end of History Class. I gathered my things and spotted Heron in the crowd. I fought through the wave of dragons to get to Heron. I managed to get to his side. “That was so boring,” I complained to Heron. I actually found it really interesting, but I was not going to tell him that. "It always is. What class do you have next?“ Heron questioned. “Music. You?” I responded. “Same,” Heron laughed. I smiled at him.
