* MOBILE FRIENDLY * Use arrow keys or swipe the screen to roll the ball around the maze. You must try and get the ball out of the maze to win! If you get stuck on a level, you can Undo or Restart. If you complete a level, you can watch it again with the Replay button! Navigate through all the levels you've unlocked with the forward/rewind buttons. Use the Save/Load buttons to get/use a save code to keep your progress. All levels are possible, but move carefully because on some levels you can get trapped if you do things in the wrong order! You WILL get soft-locked in this game. If you do simply Undo your moves until you think you can solve it, or Restart the level. (NB if you hit a mine, you'll have to restart!) More puzzling elements are introduced as the game progresses. These are:- Pressure pads! Mines! Bends! Sticky patches! Ball colour change! Colour-dependent gates! Colour-dependent teleports! There are 40 levels. I can't really judge how hard or easy they are. Some are probably a lot harder than I intended, and the reverse is also probably true! I intend to increase the number of levels in the game to 80 with the addition of community levels! So get creating quick to take advantage of this unique opportunity! To create a level of your own, use the built-in level editor and post it to the forum thread, and if I like it, maybe I will add it to the game! Hopefully the editor controls are self-explanatory. Drag the ball to change the starting position. Click the tiles on the right to select the editor tile - some have multiple costumes so keep clicking to get the one you want! The first 2 people (that I’m aware of) to complete all 40 levels is: @karkade35 @Evil_Zardan
Discussion Thread for Level and Progress Codes: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/881041/ The original "Headlong Maze" was designed by Adrian Fisher. Adrian's maze layout is level 10 in this game. All other levels and additional puzzle elements were devised by me, unless otherwise stated below! Music tracks are "Headlong", "Innuendo" and "We Are the Champions" by Queen. "Alright!" voice sample is by Freddie Mercury.
