The forest is quiet yet loud at the same time as a young adult traverses through it, her ears perked, her eyes flitting about, and her tail dragging on the ground in boredom and exhaustion mixed together. Up ahead, she sees something; a mass of flowers, tangled together in a tapestry, woven across brambles; a camp. Not just any camp, but YarrowClan camp. She sighed and sat nearby until a white-furred feline poked their head out of the entrance, amber eyes scanning her up and down before stepping out fully. "You're here?" They spoke, their eyes still mildly wide. She was confused; why wouldn't she be? "Why not? I've wanted to join a clan for ages; my mama kept tellin' me I couldn't.. But then again, she was wrong about a lot of things." The warrior let out a hearty chuckle, before glancing back, flicking their tail and gesturing with a paw for someone to come up; another warrior, and his apprentice. The warrior was taller than the white-furred one and looked similar; white fur, albeit with gray stripes on his pelt. They all had some kind of plantlife on them. The apprentice was different; a dark tabby with blue eyes gazing at her. She nervously smiled; this wasn't that big of a deal. "So.. I know we've spoken a lot, but you never told me- What's your name?" The white feline inquired. She had to think of one on the spot; no, she would never use that old name she carried. She was her own cat now. She thought about clan names and gave one she thought fit her in a weird way, something she liked. "Dogfish. What about you three?" The striped one seemed to practically elbow the white feline to not say much, but they ignored it, rolling his eyes towards his supposed brother. "Astersentinel. That's Carnationdoze- my brother, and his apprentice, Cormorantpaw. When we met, I was just Asterpaw, though." Dogfish chuckled; she didn't mind this at all. She got up from being seated, stretching out her muscles. "Come on into camp, I guess. No use in waiting." The striped one spoke, albeit eyeing her suspiciously. No wonder why, she was a stranger coming into camp, but the cats in the camp seemed to look at her with odd stares; stares of complete joy and hope. ..Why?
